Comfortable stay but needs a make over
Pros:

The room was a great size, beautiful view, comfortable bed. The carpets thread bare, bathroom was very dated, water pressure excellent though. 1 robe for a King room seemed scimpy, good coffee and mini bar. Strange and unappealing room service menu. Parking was easy and handy. This hotel if upgraded would be exceptional

Pros:

The room and bathroom was quite spacious, Breakfast was ok, well located to the tramlines into Melbourne CBD.

Cons:

Two things the lobby area smelt like 100 different types of men cologne and there was a woman trying to checkin and something was wrong with her credit card and she was loud and swearing and the other person on the other end of the phone.

I’ve stayed at the Pullman many times .I could not book the Pullman so I gave the Mecure a go .
