24 ore a Ravello con fantastica vista mare
Pros:

L'albergo è splendido per posizione. Camera anche se "basic" comodissima, spaziosa, bella e con meravigliosa vista sul mare. Colazione su una terrazza a sua volta con spettacolare vista sul mare e con prodotti di qualità eccellente. Staff gentilissimo, e direi che funziona molto bene anche la "joint venture" con l'albergo gemello, il Giordano. Al Giordano (5 minuti a piedi, in leggera salita, verso il Santa Maria) c'è una stupenda piscina che i clienti di entrambi gli hotel possono usare. Al Giordano c'è anche il parcheggio per le auto. Se arrivate in macchina il personale molto solerte si prende cura dell'auto e vi porta i bagagli al Santa Maria (che è in una zona solo pedonale). Lo stesso personale vi riporta il bagaglio al parcheggio del Giordano quando ripartite (il Giordano non ha vista mare e non ha ristorante, ma è a sua volta un bellissimo posto). Anche il giardino del Villa Maria merita una menzione speciale. Ci sono piante e alberi stupendi, si intuisce una grande passione di chi ha voluto quel giardino e di chi lo cura.

Cons:

L'ho già detto al cortesissimo personale della reception: eravamo a Ravello per un concerto al Festival e per ragioni varie il concerto è cominciato e finito in ritardo. Avevamo prenotato il ristorante dell'Hotel Santa Maria, che so essere tra i migliori di Ravello, nell'ultima finestra oraria utile, le 22.15 perché l'ultima comanda scatta alle 22.30. Concerto finito alle 22.25, mancava materialmente il tempo per raggiungere il ristorante. Sarà un motivo per tornare. Ecco: trovo strano che un albergo importante con un ristorante importante non abbia la flessibilità di allungare un po' di più il suo orario in coincidenza con un grande evento, di rilevanza internazionale, che porta a Ravello centinaia e centinaia di appassionati. Strano anche che alle 23 non sia più possibile bere un cognac, un whisky perché nell'albergo tutto chiude (tranne la reception) e, restano solo le bibite e la birra del frigobar. Ma immagino che per entrambe le cose valga la legge del mercato, probabilmente non c'è abbastanza richiesta il che rende anti-economico gestire i servizi (ristorante e bar) oltre una certa ora. Peccato però.

No swimming pool and you need to be careful what room you have suite was fab but pricey

It was quiet and after moving rooms it was great. Amazing views
Great staff

Cons:

You have to walk to sister hotel to use the pool which is a good 5 minute walk. Position in the town was good.

Lovely Hotel and great satff
Pros:

The breakfast was great, so much choice and a charming courtyard overlooking a valley. The staff were great and always willing to do their utmost to help you.

Wonderfully honeymoon location, Ravello & Villa Maria, access to Hotel Giordano’s pool was dreamy!
Pros:

Incredible service, fantastic location, incredible sister Hotel Giordano, the pool was so peaceful with stunning views of the Ravello hills. It was our honeymoon & our room was upgraded. Breakfast was extensive, we were allowed to take away some extra items for lunch each day & enjoyed mimosa’s each morning, ultimately a fabulous honeymoon location, we will definitely return & we recommend to anyone travelling to Ravello.

Relaxing, delicious, awesome views, comfortable friendly hotel.
Pros:

The location is spectacular! Lifetime view from the dinning areas over the hillside terrace off into the Mediterranean!! Easy stroll thru the cooble stone narrow enchanting streets to the exciting piazza full of music and laughter not to mention the wine and food.

Cons:

First we didn't like that we had to go. The only issue was a wedding party that was up a bit late but heck that's life and its a perfect romantic spot.

Old world charm and beautiful setting. Room upstairs from reception area could use refreshing.
Pros:

a beautiful property with a great view from dining room and terrace ( for restaurant); Wonderful breakfast selection with fresh produce from their expansive gardens.

Cons:

room was small and in need of refreshing. room would get very stuffy while out, due to key operated AC/electricity power.

Overall an excellent stay
Pros:

Great staff - extremely friendly and helpful.
Great location - close to everything we wanted to be close to.
Great restaurant - Francesco A was an especially fiendly and enthusiastic member of staff.

Cons:

There were many noisy and disruptive wedding guests. 3 nights out of the 6 were disrupted by other guests snashing around, shouting, at 12-3 in the morning.
The only other negative was that we had no coffee or milk in the room. We had instructions for how to use a coffee machine, but no coffee machine. And we had English breakfast tea, but no milk. So overall, no way to make any morning drinks.
