A wonderful stay with excellent facilities and views
Pros:

The location of the hotel was very convenient for us, especially because we were traveling by car. It is not located right in the city center, but it is close enough to easily walk into the city. It is also near a main road, which makes access to other destinations very quick and easy.

The hotel is situated at a higher point above the city, offering beautiful views both towards the mountains and the coastline. I highly recommend staying on an evening when there are fireworks from the marina, as the experience and the view are truly impressive.

The hotel design was flawless, modern, and innovative. Even the gardens were well maintained. The spa and outdoor pool area were very clean, not overcrowded, and beautifully designed. The indoor pool area included a warm jacuzzi and a pool with water jets for a massage-like experience. There was also a wet sauna, a dry sauna, and a four-season shower. We also had a massage at the spa, which was excellent.

The parking area was large and spacious and was more than sufficient for our needs. The reception staff were very friendly and helped us with every request or issue we had.

The breakfast was excellent, very large, and offered a wide variety of options. Definitely a 10/10!

The room was large and spacious, with a comfortable and generous wardrobe, and a balcony with a beautiful view. The only thing missing for me personally was a smart TV. The television only had regular channels, with no option to stream content or use YouTube, which would have been a nice addition.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

Cons:

The shower cabin was very small, and there was not enough ventilation, which caused a damp smell in the bathroom.

Although the hotel offers the option to skip towel replacement and room cleaning in exchange for a refund, I personally found this option less practical. The towels did not have enough time to dry properly before the next use, and the rooms clearly state that towels or clothes should not be left on the balcony to dry, which I completely understand why.

On one day, there was no hot water for a few hours. We had just returned from a massage, and this was quite inconvenient because we had to go out to a restaurant while still having massage oil on our bodies. In my opinion, the hotel team could have offered some kind of compensation or a small gesture to make the situation better, perhaps a drink at the bar or a glass of wine to help ease the inconvenience.

One evening, we had dinner at the hotel restaurant (the candlelight dinner). Unfortunately, I felt that the meal was not varied enough, and the price was quite high compared to the value received. Looking back, it would probably have been better for us to go to a restaurant in the city, which would likely have been cheaper and, in my opinion, even tastier.

Pros:

Amazing!!! Food was incredible. Short walk to many local places. The hamburger castle was very good! Spa was lovely and the beds were SOOO comfortable.

Top notch hospitality and comfort on our honeymoon, exceeded all our expectations.
Pros:

Our stay was unforgettable! We stayed for 7 days on our honeymoon, and the staff from check-in to our last day made us very comfortable. The rooms were clean, beds and pillows extremely comfortable, and the views breathtaking. Entire staff was hospitable and friendly, very responsive, and kind to help us with even with things out of their control like our lost luggage. The spa was a truly relaxing experience and felt tranquil. The pool bar and lounge were visited daily. Breakfast options were good. We loved our stay so much that we left our next stop in Ponta Do Sol early to come back to The Views.

Ok stay but wouldn’t return
Pros:

The view of the see from the pool/ solarium was incredible. Spa area was lovely. Rooms were clean.

Cons:

Breakfasts and dinners weren’t great, never tasted fresh and not a lot of variation. Very easy to get bored of the food. Staff were not the friendliest. Room was ok but described as Mountain View when it was in reality a view of trees and a road. Quite overpriced for the service received.

Peaceful and relaxing
Pros:

I wasn’t expecting my room to be as amazing as it was! It was clean and comfortable. The atmosphere and the pool table too. The easy access to and from the town. I didn’t mind the hill because if I was in a rush I got a bolt from town. I got a massage, had use of the facilities whilst being able to go for a swim..

Есть бесплатная парковка на территории отеля, в стоимость номера включены завтраки и посещение спа-центра с двумя бассейнами.

Неприветливый персонал, номер не соответствовал фотографиям на букинге, который мы бронировали за немалые деньги. Мы бронировали номер на высоком этаже с видом на море (само собой за доплату), а нам дали номер на 1 этаже с видом на парковку. В результате переговоров был предложен номер чуть повыше на 3 этаже с боковым видом на море и только со следующих суток, потому что все было занято. Хотя весь отель казался свободным. Неудачное расположение коридоров - непонятно куда идти на завтрак и где вообще находится ресепшен - все слишком запутанно, как лабиринт (не на каждом лифте можно попасть в свои комнаты, даже если они находятся на одном и том же этаже). Уборка мусора в номере производилась каждый день, но мы заполнили бумажку, чтобы у нас не убирали сам номер (по условиям отеля в этом случае положен возврат 3 евро в сутки после выезда). В итоге, мы выехали и нам никто ничего не вернул, а номер так и не убирался все наше пребывание.

Le coin fumeur est plus que limite vous ne pouvez fumer nul part dans l’hôtel hormis un petit coin où vous avez êtes avec les aérations de la cuisine.
Le bar est pas ouvert à l’intérieur avant 18h
L’hôtel manque de convivialité pour le prix et le prestige qu’il s’attribut
Nous avons donc annulé notre réservation. Le remboursement n’a été que de la moitié du prix payé pour 1 h 20 passé dans l’hôtel

beautiful hotel with very good service
Pros:

We stayed at this hotel from June 12 to June 22. The hotel is beautifully situated on a hill in Funchal. We had a room with a sea view. The rooms are fine and clean, and the view of Funchal and the sea is beautiful. The swimminbg pool is very nice situated. The beds are fine, as is the extensive breakfast every morning. We used the dinner buffet twice, and that was also very good and extensive. The staff is friendly and helpful if desired. In short, a great hotel with excellent service.

Hotel mit schöner Aussicht und gutem Restaurant
Pros:

Die schöne Aussicht auf Funchal. Das Frühstück und Abendessen in Buffet Form war reichhaltig und sehr gut. Parkplatz beim Hotel.

Cons:

Zimmermädchen haben draussen vor der Zimmertür oft gestritten. Das Leintuch auf dem Bett hatte in der Mitte der Liegefläche einen ca. 6 cm langen Riss. War nicht zu übersehen. Das Leintuch wurde trotz 1 Woche Aufenthalt nicht ausgetauscht.
