Great place to stay in Funchal for adults only getaway
Pros:

Central location in Funchal and easy to drive to other areas of the island, lovely views to the sea and mountains. Quirky decor and beautiful room and restaurant areas. Parking and access were great.

Cons:

Parking was sometimes busy.

Beautiful, relaxing, lovely staff and great food.
Pros:

Incredible views from the room. Large windows and seats in the bedroom to enjoy the view and a small balcony if we wanted to be outside.
The spa was modern and super relaxing.
The staff were so helpful and friendly and left left a bottle of Madeira wine and handmade chocolates in the room for my birthday - delicious- thank you so much.
The food for breakfast and dinner was varied and delicious. We sat outside on the balcony to eat with views across Funchal.
The local sparkling wine was very reasonably priced and delicious.

Wir waren sehr begeistert - sowohl vom Hotel als solches als auch vom Personal und dem Essen. Es herrschte jederzeit eine angenehme aufgeschlossene Atmosphäre und wir wäre gerne länger als nur zwei Nächte geblieben. Leider war das Hotel, zurecht, bereits ausgebucht.

La nostra camera aveva un problema nel bagno, quando facevi la doccia usciva l’acqua e il bagno era allagato dopo qualche minuto, abbiamo detto questo alla reception, si sono scusati ma non hanno fatto nulla, inoltre il cibo non mi è piaciuto, la colazione era di bassa qualità, e la cena a buffet anche

Das The Views Baia ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir hatten uns von Anfang an gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Das Personal überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Service war super und immer freundlich. Küche abwechslungsreich, Weine lecker, Personal super freundlich. Abends gab es immer Unterhaltung. Sehr angenehme Atmosphäre und Ambiente.

Great spot for a holiday with partner close to Funchal centre
Pros:

Great panoramic views of the town.
Staff were friendly

Cons:

No access to streaming services on TVs. Movies cost €11 each to watch.
Shower had glass wall with a view which was fun but as the door was clear to the bedroom you couldn’t block out the light during the morning /day.

Een prachtig adults-only hotel met topfaciliteiten, heerlijk eten en een geweldige ligging.
Pros:

We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in The Views Baia. Vooral de faciliteiten waren top. Het zwembad, de wellness en de andere hotelvoorzieningen waren uitstekend en maakten het verblijf erg aangenaam.

Ook het eten was een absolute meevaller. Zowel het ontbijt als de andere maaltijden waren uitgebreid, lekker en van goede kwaliteit. Er was veel keuze en we hebben er met veel plezier gegeten.

De ligging is ook een groot pluspunt. Het hotel biedt een prachtig uitzicht over Funchal en de oceaan. Het adults-only concept zorgt bovendien voor een rustige en aangename sfeer.

Cons:

De kamer was wat verouderd en sloot daardoor niet helemaal aan bij de rest van het hotel, dat op veel vlakken moderner aanvoelt.

Daarnaast misten we een aantal kleine voorzieningen die het verblijf net wat comfortabeler zouden maken, zoals tissues op de kamer en dagelijks een flesje water.

Top hotel. Heerlijke luxe.
Pros:

Alle voorzieningen zijn goed. Het ontbreekt je aan niets. Mooie zwembaden en welness. Er is livemuziek maar niet te hard. Goed ontbijt en dinerbuffet. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk. En dat er geen kinderen zijn beviel ook prima. Daardoor heerlijk rustig.

De kamer had sfeervoller gekund.
