A wonderful experience
Pros:

The hotel name describes the location - it’s like sitting on a cruise ship -
The rooms are spacious - dial 9 almost immediate response
Breakfast is fabulous
We were b&b however as the food was exceptional we ate in most evenings - themed menus - fabulous tastes - spectacular deserts
Very reasonable bar prices in comparison to Croatia
Taxis 8-10 euro to the centre
Lovely spa
No rush for beds on a morning

Pros:

Alles! Het hotel kijkt uit over Funchal, er is een mooi zwembad, het eten (ook het buffet voor de avond) is heerlijk, persoon is zeer vriendelijk, de kamers zijn prachtig en aan alles is gedacht!

Lielisks SPA ar baseinu iekštelpās, ideāls āra baseins un bārs pie baseina. Skats no brokastu restorāna uz okeānu ir fantastisks. Labs kondicionieris, uzkopšana un tīri dvieļi pēc izvēles kaut katru dienu. Sporta zāle neliela, bet pietiekoša, lai veiktu ierastos treniņus. Bezmaksas auto stāvvieta. Skaistas telpas. Tudo excelente, desde a piscina, o pequeno almoço, as vistas sobre o mar, tudo muito bom. Recomendo.

Nada, gostei de tudo, foi uma viagem em trabalho e não pude aproveitar o hotel devidamente.
