Amazing stay and will be back before the end of the year
Pros:

Endless facilities, gym, spa, bar, pool (indoor/outdoor), night time entertainment. Staff were very helpful. Organised flowers and bottle of wine for my GF birthday.

Cons:

Nothing, contemplated staying an extra day if not for the kids at home.

Very relaxed stay in a quality hotel
Pros:

Breakfast was very good, great choice and nice touch with a glass of sparkling wine, should you feel like a holiday tipple
Rooms were spacious clean and comfortable
View over Funchal was spectacular

Cons:

Balcony was too small to be useable
Set beside a busy road, so there is noise from traffic when sitting beside the pool, or if the balcony door was open. But room is sound proofed, so no noise inside
