Pros:

Incredible views! Clean and comfortable room, only a 15 min walk into Old Town Funchal, a great base for a week on Madeira. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The pool and spa had limited opening hours - particularly early in the morning or late in the evening.

Pros:

The customer relations manager and most of the receptionist were kind, wanted to help and were very friendly, it was the best part of our stay!
The place was clean and well maintained.
Food at the pool bar was great.

Cons:

Dinner was extremely disappointing, paying 33eur for poor quality food, we ended up not eating most of it, and had to add 3eur for a small water bottle which wasn’t included.
Breakfast was ok overall.
However, everywhere it felt like the hotel is trying to get you to spend extras - water at diner, usage of the luggage weight, hidden details about extra charges until you use them.
And when you are entitled for something, like extra dishes at breakers for deluxe room, they’d hide it too unless you’d ask.
This environments has eventually ruined our last day there.

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

This a stunning hotel- stylish and calm atmosphere, breakfast was amazing (including a prosecco 😅) food choice really good. Rooms reasonably spacious and well equipped, had slippers and bathrobes. The mountain view is absolutely beautiful at night. First time staying at the adults only and really appreciated the calm.

Cons:

Pool bar staff weren't maybe as helpful on a few occasions, but nothing major.
The location isn't great if you want to walk to the old town, central area or the marina, it's on a steepil(ish) hill and around at least 20mins walk, not much around the hotel. Bolt was cheap enough if it's too much of a walk though.

Pros:

Amazingly friendly staff. Both breakfast and dinner are top class. The room is super spacious and one of the best views we ever had in a hotel.

Cons:

Nothing really, the parking situation was maybe difficult but we always found a spot. Also the fact that towels are only replaced on request could have been pointed out during check-in.

The quest didn't use the towels in dry sauna. Staff should educate guests on how to use a dry sauna because it's currently very unhygienic for people to sweat on the benches. Disgusting!

This was our favorite hotel on our 2 week trip. The views are awesome. The staff was friendly. The room was incredibly cozy and spacious (we did have a deluxe room). The food was pretty good, buffet breakfast had lots of options. Since we had the deluxe package we had deluxe breakfast included, but we actually preferred the buffet. The island is awesome and this provided a nice home base for our 5 days in Madeira. Would recommend to anyone.

Mängel behaftetes Hotel mit schöner Aussicht

Ausblick, Pools, Restaurant, Essen, freundliches Personal im Restaurant und an der Bar

Cons:

Gebuchtes Zimmer (200 € pro Nacht) mit Bergblick hatte Ausblick auf den Parkplatz. Gleichfalls nach Zimmerwechsel. Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte nicht und tagsüber wurde Klimaanlage reduziert, dass sie nicht kühlte. Mangelnde Informationen an der Rezeption beim Check In, da man schriftlich festlegen muss, wann man welche Reinigungsleistung im Zimmer will. Ansonsten wird nur der Müll geleert. Hauptgerät im Gym defekt. Shuttle in und von der Stadt fährt am Wochenende nicht. Nur Montag bis Freitag. Das alles ist für so einen Preis und so ein Hotel inakzeptabel.

Hotel je izvanredan! Od osoblja, do same sobe i sadržaja pa do doručka i večere! Sve je bilo vrhunsko! Lokacija je odlična, blizina samog grada. Izbor za doručak i večeru je ogroman i sve je prefino. Osoblje je ažurno i stalno provjerava da ništa ne nedostaje. Vraćamo se sigurno!

Très bel hôtel avec un personnel aux petits soins et une bonne proximité du centre à pieds.
