Have stayed here a few times, convenient position in the city, clean & spacious
Pros:

Excellent location, check in was easy, room was comfortable & spacious

Cons:

Reported some blown lights in our room but they were not fixed while we were there. Lighting was dim in the bathroom for doing makeup, could do with some strip lighting near mirror.

Royal Albert Hotel, fabulous location, gorgeous historical building and very clean & comfortable!
Pros:

We loved our stay at the Royal Albert, great location, Cafe Mondial downstairs was amazing, close to everything with great public transport options. Our 1 bedroom apartment was great and very comfy bed.

Cons:

Aircon was loud not sure much can be done about that though, otherwise nothing else, would stay again.

Exceptionally delightful old world charm!
Pros:

Old world charm. Delightful staff. Exceptionally clean. Close proximity to everything.

Expected it to be a bit musty and old. So pleasantly surprised. Could have stayed a month instead of just overnight.

Good value, great location for a couple of nights in Central Brisbane.
Pros:

Great location, everything on your doorstep.

Cons:

Suite is looking a bit tired and dated. Wrong information given by reception staff regarding parking in the nearby Uptown Car Park which luckily was corrected by another staff member.

Location was great. Was spacious. Had a washing machine.

Cons:

Was spacious but odd proportions. Sad tired little kitchen area that functioned badly. On arrival, had to ask for the floor to be vaccuumed. Big stains on the tired carpet. Nice couch, could have done a with a nice comfortable chair. The second bedroom had a very small bed and no curtain on the interior facing windows. I struggled with the street lights.
I am torn about the high cost ( for me), for inner city accommodation and space when everything else is a bit substandard and grubby.
(We were 2 female friends travelling together. I got the booby prize of the small room. The main room and bathroom were fine)

The apartment was very large and comfortable

Cons:

It’s not a don’t like but just a little irritation that the parking situation was not stated on the booking site
You had to park in the shopping complex car park opposite where there were reserved places
As I said a minor annoyance
