Pros:

We spent 4 nights and couldn't be much happier with the location, view, services and especially the cleanliness which we are very particular about. Rumba is a luxury resort and everything is within meters beach in the front, shops to eat and for shopping. Rooms were very spacious including the big balcony. Only thing we thought missing was Gym as our teenage son is very fond of gym. We will definitely come back in future again.

Good accommodation but lacked holiday atmosphere.
Pros:

We had pool views but our room on the 5th floor (top) and the majority of the other rooms on all floors didn’t receive any sunlight. Also the 2 lovely pools and 2 spas were in the shade for the majority of the day.
In addition, unfortunately the bar was only open between 4.30-6.30 pm on Friday and Saturday. We were there in September. So the placed lacked a vibrant atmosphere.

It was great to walk out the door for the beach and coffee. Several dining options nearby.

Pros:

We loved staying here for the night. We stayed on a Friday night and could hear the bar below until very late. Food places around the hotel we either quite expensive or the restaurants didn’t look clean.

Amazing stay. Jacuzzi is awesome during the cold weather. The beach is conviniently located across the resort as well as Happy Valley Park. We had a birthday surprise in the room to enjoy.

Great location and friendly staff. Our bed sheets were stained on arrival and the ocean view room we booked had a garden blocking the ocean. Our balcony also backed onto the pool area which was not private. I mentioned this a couple of times and no solutions were given.

The bar area has morning coffee and muffins. This is nice but could be much more. The happy hour was cramped and lacking energy.

A wonderful hotel with friendly staff, spacious rooms, great happy hour drinks and a beautiful pool. Close to the beach and shops. Magnificent and highly recommended if you decide to go to Caloundra.

Great stay with our young family. Plenty of space and the pool area was popular with the young ones. Muffins and coffee in the morning were nice touches to the stay.
