Pros:

We absolutely adored the Quinta da Lagoa. Two lovely pools, great staff, beautiful grounds, lots to do. Just a short drive to both Mira and Praia de Mira, which have great restaurants. About a 25 minute drive to Aveiro. The mattresses are not as hard as most other Portuguese hotels, thank goodness. The breakfast is as good as other Portuguese hotels we've been to: consider it a good continental breakfast, while recognizing that the hot portion isn't so... hot, lol. Overall, it was a wonderful stay. I had stayed here alone two years previously, and had been wanting to bring my wife since then. This time we both went, and she loved it as much as I did. We'll definitely be coming back!

Hotel was probably very impressive back in the day , obviously no money being spent on it now. Some areas are not used and look abandoned. Breakfast very poor .

Great place and under rated.
Pros:

Under rated ad a three star hotel. We were so impressed by our first night we rebooked for another. As Hotels.com showed “booked out” we had to arrange directly with manager to stay. Meals are delicious either as a buffet or from menu. Breakfast including Portuguese custard tarts was great start to the day.

Nos ha gustado que los jardines están mejor que otras veces. Las habitaciones amplias con nevera a disposición, baños grandes. Estaría bien tener una papelera en la habitación, llaves para las luces en ambos lados de la cama. No nos gustó la limpieza de la segunda piscina
