Location
Bar and restaurant not open with no notification or indication it was. Had to go out for drinks and could not relax at the hotel. Limited breakfast options. Vacuum cleaners left in passages. Poor standard of random single seater chairs in passages. Bed not comfortable. Shower head huge for the size of shower so no room to stand waiting for water to heat up. Loose shower head. Sensitive fire alarm went off twice. Definitely not 4 star.
I recently stayed at Sea Stone Hotel in Bournemouth and really enjoyed my time there. The location is perfect — right by the seaside and close enough to explore the town easily. I was given a lovely room on the top floor with a beautiful sea view, which made my mornings especially relaxing.
The hotel was very clean and well kept throughout my stay. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good selection to start the day off right.
Overall, I had a great experience and would happily stay at Sea Stone Hotel again the next time I’m in Bournemouth.
There wasn’t much to dislike about my stay. Everything was perfect.
Really pleased with our stay. The location was perfect, a few minutes walk to the pier and the pavilion. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The public carpark was a bit rough, but right next to hotel, no issue finding 2 spaces. It was £8.10 for 24 hours. Breakfast was really nice. Fully English, omelette, cereal, toast, crossaints, yoghurt, juices, tea coffee. Nice big restaurant.
One room had a bit of a musty smell, but that is just being picky, it was still very clean and comfortable.
Location was great.
Whilst somewhat dated, it’s a typical seaside town hotel. A 50 minute wait for breakfast is unforgivable however & the staff are completely oblivious to this issue. Good on-sight parking though.
Had a very good time
Very friendly staff I'm very nice and comfortable
Perfect location for the Pavilion or the BIC. Staff friendly.
Rooms dated, stains on carpets, thick hair down the radiator. Only 1 bottle of water and 1 pack of biscuits even though 2 people in the room. The breakfast was awful. Such poor quality ingredients, poached eggs hard, fried were snotty, and tinned mushrooms!! They forgot one of the 4 breakfasts. So I had to wait. Fresh croissants were the only redeeming factor.
Friendly courteous staff, comfortable room and beds, super location for BIC across the road, with parking options nearby too. Breakfast options also very good.
