Very friendly staff lovely big rooms
Breakfast wasn’t nice and coffee and tea was cold
Hotel situated near town centre and also the beach. Check in was pleasant, staff member was very helpful when I enquired about directions to an event I was attending.
The hotel is no way 4* as advertised, it’s very dated and tired looking, beds uncomfortable and the cooked breakfast was dreadful, not cooked properly, lots of patrons complained about it .
Lovely big room and comfy bed. Staff were polite and location perfect for the BIC.
We booked here to see a show at the BIC. Literally just a cross of the road, ideal! And also not far from nightlife and very close to the pier and waterfront too. Location couldn't have been better.
Beds were a little uncomfortable and the inside of the hotel was a little outdated. However the location and value for money was great, so overall a good experience. The shower was pretty bad, it did what we needed it to but I'm glad I only had to shower once here.
Lovely view and great location. Comfortable bed and a very spacious room.
The lobby, corridors and room were very dated and shabby, in need of refurbishment. It smelt musty and was overall very tired. The room was also very noisy as though the window was open but it wasn't.
Breakfast was really quite terrible. Cheap bread for the toast as well as cheap condiments and jams etc. tea and coffee from an urn which wasn't great as it was run out by the time we got there. Crockery was dirty. Our sausages were basically raw - so we avoided eating it as we didn't fancy getting food poisoning! Plus a sad little rasher of streaky bacon.
Sadly we won't book to stay again.
Location , large bedrooms, comfortable beds
Nothing
Sea view.
Where should I start?
.
I’m writing to express my disappointment with my recent stay at the hotel.
The most serious issue was the shower: the water turned cold approximately two minutes after I started. With shampoo in my hair, I had no choice but to finish in freezing water. This is unacceptable for any hotel, particularly at this price point.
I booked and paid for an executive room; however, the room did not meet the expected standard. The condition and overall experience were well below what I associate with that category.
Breakfast was also disappointing - the food was oily, soggy, and the selection was very limited. As a result, I chose not to return for breakfast on my third day.
I was offered compensation in the form of a discount for a future stay, but given this experience, I am not confident about returning.

Location was good as it was opposite the bic
Person on reception wasnt helpful telling us where our room is.
Breakfast was not good at all! Sausages and bacon wasnt cooked enough
Excellent location
Very outdated and tired looking but clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was an absolute joke, service was slow, everything was the cheapest of the cheap, tea and coffee was tasteless. Sausages came out raw, not as slightly undercooked but RAW, poached eggs came out resembling a really hard boiled egg, suggest they get rid of the “cook”
