Excellent but.....
Pros:

Hotel was again very good. Because it was Bastille Day the parking was closed but normally it's ok. We had to park some distance away. We were allocated a room on the top floor and the spiral staircase for two 80 year olds was a bit challenging, the lift being out of action. Cleanliness was as one would expect.

Cons:

The themed room with Superman plastered across the whole headboard wall was a little unfortunate. The wi-fi didn't work in our room. We again chose the George because of the restaurant but unfortunately it was closed. Next time I will check beforehand

Beau bâtiment du XV ème siècle, salle de restaurant prolongée par une terrasse donnant sur la rivière.
Cadre magnifique. Quant à la chambre : superbe ! Coin salon, vaste bureau, grand écran TV, literie très confortable, décoration top, salle de bain XXL.

Cons:

Climatisation trop forte la nuit, mais appréciable pendant cette période de canicule.

Everything about stay was simply perfect.
Pros:

Extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful staff in reception, restaurant, bar. Patient when waiting for us to park the car in their protected car park. Nothing was too much for them.
The room was spacious and well-appointed.
The air-conditioning was very much needed and working perfectly.
The evening meal was very good and the lunchtime ‘Salade d’été’ was simply refreshing and delicious - melon, watermelon, feta, cured ham and dressing. A must on a very hot day.
