I had visited Kalkan on four previous occasions and enjoyed the lovely bar at the Elixir Hotel, although I had never stayed here. On a solo visit this time, I preferred a hotel over a villa, and booked a deluxe room at the Elixir. There are lots of choices in gorgeous Kalkan, but I made a very good decision. The room is perfect for me: spacious and chilled out with everything you need - exceptionally clean, lovely bed and bedding, delightful wood floor, two balconies (one with a spa tub), lovely and quiet… bliss. I’ve had better sleeps than anywhere else I’ve stayed in the last few years. The staff are amazing - thoughtful and attentive but not intrusive in any way. I would comment on the breakfast, but my sleeping has been so sound I failed to wake up for it for the last two days. This is an accolade as at home I tend to sleep poorly. Not at the Elixir though - exactly what a holiday is all about for me. You can spend a lot of time agonising over hotel choices, but if the Elixir Hotel is on your radar, don’t hesitate. Wonderful in every way and perfectly located. I’ll be back next year.

We’ve just returned from a week’s holiday at the Elixir Hotel.
It’s the 2nd time we’ve stayed there and it didn’t disappoint.
We had a private transfer from the airport arranged by the hotel which was waiting for us at Dalaman.
From the moment we arrived at the hotel to the time of our departure we received great service.
We were offered a choice of rooms both which overlooked the room.
All the staff were 1st class , from the reception / the bar staff / the guys and girls round the pool / plus the lovely people that prepared the breakfast/ lunch - not forgetting the housekeeping!

Special thanks to Zeyneb and Atalay who were extra helpful and always very friendly.

We couldn’t fault anything and will definitely consider returning in the future.

High quality property with excellent staff and amazing spa

Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was nearing end of season so had rooms to spare. We were upgraded to top suite , our original superior room was lovely but this was just beautiful.
Great selection of fruit, cheeses etc for breakfast and staff were very accommodating. We would definitely stay there again

Just returned from 8 wonderful relaxing days at the Elixir. Arrived at 2am and we were warmly greeted. Our room was lovely and everything we’d hoped for. Breakfast plentiful and great variety. Pool area beautiful with no shortage of sunbeds, any time of the day. Regularly ate/drank at hotel and never disappointed. Short walk into town with many restaurants/bars nearly. Had wonderful Turkish bath from Nur and Hakan, spa based at hotel. Didn’t see as much of Kalkan as we’d planned as Elixir offered everything we needed from a holiday. Huge thanks to Ali and his amazing team We will be returning ❤️

Our first time in years in a hotel in Kalkan and it didn’t disappoint. A really personal level of customer service makes this hotel, they go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your time with them. Great pool, lots of loungers and a fabulous breakfast included. Try Menemen - Turkish omelette for breakfast, my absolute fav and was a real treat to have every day for breakfast. We would whole heartedly recommend this hotel and will go back!

Everything about this hotel is amazing. All the staff, from the owners to the waiters, to the lovely receptionist and the cleaners can’t do enough for you. All of them with smiles on their faces from morning breakfast to late at night at the bar for a bedtime tipple! The ambiance is peaceful and relaxing. The design and decor in the rooms is quite traditional with solid wood furniture. The bathroom is beautiful with a fabulous walk in shower.

Charming small hotel, good breakfast and pool. Staff friendly and helpful. About 10 min slightly uphill walk from the central area with shops and restaurants and another 5-10 min uphill from the marina and restaurants. The room was clean and nicely appointed, small balcony overlooking the pool.

We struck lucky. The hotel is charming, the staff attentive, the breakfast cooked to order using fresh ingredients. We had a family suite and it was a decent size. It’s a short ride to town or a slightly longer walk and the beach clubs are all easy to get to. If you’re looking for glamour go somewhere else. This is about peace and relaxation

Ali, Selda and team go over and above to make you feel welcome. Hotel has a lovely feel to it with its unique wooden structures, marble spiral staircase and splashes of turquoise throughout. Rooms are spacious, clean, beautifully designed and decorated. Great location away from the town but close enough to walk, if you don’t mind the hill!! Otherwise a short taxi ride into town at a fixed rate.
Breakfast is a vast array, always fresh and an amazing selection.
Pool area with day beds is fab if you fancy a day chilling.
The Spa downstairs, Nur&Hakan, is lovely and would definitely recommend the Haman.

This is a well run hotel with good facilities and excellent staff. The rooms are well laid out and well supplied with soaps, razors, toothpaste etc. The pool area is great with a fairly big pool, large jacuzzi and a discrete area of sun beds which are actually placed into the pool. Bar facilities and food quality is great.
Overall a good holiday destination. The hotel is a bit of a distance outside of the town centre, but taxis turn up in a couple of minutes, and it only costs 15 - 18 Lira to get into town or down to the harbour.

What a great first experience of Kalkan. The staff at the Elixir were absolutely wonderful, funny and kind - they made our stay feel like 5* luxury from the second we checked in. We met several other guests who go back to this hotel every year, and I can definitely see why. The food at the hotel is to die for !!!

Great stay! All made even better by the elixir staff! Would def recommend and stay again!

Staff exceedingly friendly and helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Menu is good , bar well stocked , pool great. Cannot praise it high enough and I am NOT related !
