Location was fabulous. Hotel modern clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great as was all menus.

Lovely room with good sea view and loved the view from the dining room. On the whole the staff were friendly and helpful except the gentleman in the restaurant who was not particularity helpful when we asked for some sugar.
No sugar available at breakfast. We asked what do people do when they want to have sugar on their cornflakes and the staff member simply said 'they cant'!

Access to and from the hotel difficult due to lane
The location is perfect. Beautiful views, quiet and peaceful - total relaxation. We loved the little South Sands Ferry into Salcombe, and of course walking the SW Coast Path can't be beaten in this neck of the woods.
The food was OK but not exceptional.

Sign to car park was misleading. This resulted in taking a wrong turn, getting my car stuck on tight corner meaning I had to be towed by a local and incurring car damage.
Room was cold, although portable heater provided.
Bar service was poor due to lack of staff.

Nothing really, our bed was quite firm but that’s not a bad point, it’s just our preference is a little softer.
