Our room this night was fine, after moving from a difficult room the previous night which was definitely not fine
Big difference in rooms, if you are lucky you have a good one
I liked the location. It was pretty central.
The hotel itself, the rooms were outdated, but in a quaint way. It felt like being in a 90s hotel room. Especially the bathroom.
It was hard to get extra linen from the staff.
In the morning the bathroom had a strong sewerage smell.
5 min walk to Southbank and Entertainment Centers, 20 min walk to Brisbane CBD. Excellent staff at reception. Great to have everything on hand (Microwave, Washing machine and Dryer) Comfortable bed and quiet surroundings. A cozy little home away from home with a great restaurant on the ground floor. I do recommend
Cleanliness. I am new to apartment living or it was a bad day for the hotel. I was not sure whether to expect hotel-standard cleanliness or an "at-home" run-through clean. I got the "at-home" run-through clean. Besides the bed, toilet, and complimentary items (towels/shampoos/coffee...), everything else seemed to be a second thought.

Very handy location to Suncorp Stadium which is why we chose it and just a short walk to South Bank markets & cafes.
The sofa bed was made up but with only sheets - no duvet/blanket for the third guest which wasn't ideal. Also a little dated.
Very handy location close to the river, cultural centre, eateries, bars and Brisbane South train station. Restaurant is handy for breakfast and dinner with a good menu at reasonable prices.

Location is great and the staff is friendly. Room was pretty clean overall.
The property is pretty dated - rust on the bathroom wall, really old carpet. Walking down the alleyway to get to the hotel didn't feel unsafe, but it definitely didn't feel the safest.
The hotel has free parking for guests. It is situated a very short walk from the BTC Bille Brown Theatre and a couple of blocks to the Southbank Parklands. The restaurant is open for breakfast and early dinners so you can eat and go to a show nearby.
Basic accommodation but very economical for a city stay.
The only problem we had was with the tv which turned itself off after half an hour or five minutes. We reported it to staff so should be resolved for next guests.
I arrived before 2 pm but I could leave my car at the hotel. That was helpful; I could already go to see the surroundings and have lunch. The location is very convenient to QPAC (Performing Arts) as I had booked the Romeo & Juliet evening performance there. Although the ballet finished very late (11 pm) I felt safe to walk home to the hotel. All in all a very easy excursion to Brisbane.

Il check in era disponibile dalle 14.00. avevamo chiesto di poter anticipare un pochino. Siamo arrivati alle 13.15 e non è stato possibile farlo comunque. Ci hanno fatto fare il deposito bagagli ma siamo comunque dovuti ripassare in albergo perché il check in doveva essere fatto entro le 21.00. un po' scomodo
Bed was very comfortable and the walk from the station was easily made. Did not hear the traffic even though on main thoroughfare over the bridge
