Friendly helpful staff property needs refurbished desperately. Name change to first backpack why ???

The staff were so friendly helpful.

Cons:

The property requires a overall re vamp. It’s very tired. The windows are rotten swollen and very draughty. Under the bed had not been clean for a very long time! Spiral staircase. Difficulty carrying cases up to 3rd level (no lift).
Kitchen well used and needs an over haul. No staff overnight, i.e for security or safety reasons!!!

More hotel than backpackers. Great place to stay, fab location
Pros:

Really great to place to stay, friendly staff giving out great advice for your trip. The backpackers was really a hotel with a kitchen. Great distance to town (about 5 minutes walk to centre of high street)
Clean and tidy always.
Loved the tea, coffee and cookies available for free in the communal area.
Communal area was a great place to meet people and chat getting advice where to go and what to eat with other travellers.
We will be returning soon

Pros:

It was close to everything (though tromso is pretty small, so that’s to be expected), and the room while nothing special was clean. The beds were comfortable, and the bathroom decent. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming, we were able to get a toaster and a coffee machine in our room plus coffee pods every day

Cons:

The shower door wasn’t working very well, and the room felt a bit cold

Todo. Pese a que nos cambiaron a otro de sus hoteles, no dudaron en compensarnos con una habitación mejorada. La cual nos encantó.

Un alojamiento calidad precio estupendo
Pros:

Nos gustó todo. Nos alojamos 5 días. Tenía cocina compartida y las zonas comunes estaban muy limpias. Había café m, tés y galletas para servirse. El personal del alojamiento siempre estaba atento a todo, incluso nos recomendaron un sitio para ir a ver las auroras boreales. El último día nos dejaron guardar las maletas allí. Si alguna vez volvemos a Tromsø nos volveríamos a alojar en este sitio. Muchas gracias por todo.

Pas terrible… Je ne reviendrai certainement pas dans cet hôtel. Ce n’est pas la faute du personnel mais de l’équipement
Pros:

Le personnel disponible et souriant ainsi que les gaufres, thé, café et cookies gratuit qui est un vrai plus.

Cons:

Les chambres ne sont pas terribles… j’étais dans une chambre qui menait directement sur la rue en face avec aucune possibilité d’avoir un store (pour la lumière du jour). J’avais un rideau mais cela n’était pas suffisant pour filtrer la lumière du jour avec le soleil qui était levé dès 5h du matin. De plus, comme j’étais au premier étage, j’entendais tous les bruits de pas de l’étage d’au dessus (bruit entendus alors qu’il était 22h passé, certains clients ne respectent pas les règles de bienséance). La chambre n’est pas bien insonorisée.

La comodidad de Trømso
Pros:

El personal del hotel, te daban útiles consejos especialmente el recepcionista rubio, era un crack.

Nuestro barco a Lofoten salía de madrugada y nos dejaron quedarnos más tarde del chekout en la zonas comunes del hotel

Cocina común amplia y salón común muy acogedor. Además tenías galletas, café e infusiones gratis.

La localización es perfecta. A solo 3 minutos caminando al centro de Tromso.

Cons:

Pedimos para mayor comodidad una habitación con baño propio y era perfecta, pero teníamos justo al lado de nuestra habitación el lavabo común al piso donde nos alojábamos y al usarlo mucha gente sin baño propio, era un ruido constante.

Pros:

Ήταν πολύ κοντά στο κέντρο της πόλης, μόλις 5 λεπτά με τα πόδια. Πρόσφερε δωρεάν καφέ, τσάι και βαφλες καθημερινά στην ρεσεψιόν.
Μας άφησαν να παρκάρουμε δωρεάν στο πάρκινγκ του ξενοδοχείου παρότι ήταν επι πληρωμή υπό κανονικές συνθήκες.

Cons:

Ηταν μικρό και όχι όσο καθαρό θα ήθελα. Στην αρχή μας έδωσαν ένα μεγαλύτερο δωμάτιο το οποίο ζήτησα να αλλάξουν διότι ο χώρος που ήταν το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ στενός και το κρεβάτι ήταν πολύ χαμηλό. Επίσης από άποψη καθαριότητας δεν ήταν προσεγμένο και δεν έμοιαζε με το αρχικό κατάλυμα που είχα κλείσει και προπληρώσει φωτογραφίες. Μας μετέφεραν σε άλλο δωμάτιο έπειτα από αίτημα μας.

An overnight stay.
Pros:

We had the doudle room with bathroom which looks out over Tromso, we even saw a little streak of green aurora from the room. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's free coffee and biscuits, it's in a good location to walk to the city in 5 minutes.

Nothing.

Pros:

I was travelling with my Mum so booking a 'hostel' style hotel felt risky but we had a great experience. We had a ground floor room and it was a little bit noisy but after the first night we didn't notice the comings and goings as much. We had a private room with a bathroom and it had everything we needed and the towels were replaced as needed. Tea and biscuits available in the lounge area. We didn't use the kitchen but it looked clean and tidy.
