First Hotel Backpack is simple, clean, and conveniently located, making it easy to get around the city. The staff are polite and the check‑in process is straightforward. The room was extremely small, but still functional for a short stay. Overall, it’s a basic but practical option if you only need a place to sleep.
Was Ok, quite central.
Only one shower and toilet for several rooms,
Someone from the staff entered my room around 10:00, two hours before checkout.
And most importantly cold water in the shower. It is not winter yet, but Tromso is not the best place for a forced cold shower.
Booked a double bed, got a twin bed.
Not sure if it was positive or not, but I filtered here in booking.com for a free parking spot, then got info from the place it was 350 NOK, after asking to cancel they said they would offer me the park. When I got there there was no parking place available, I managed to squeeze the vehicle in some hole next to the marked parking spots. Hope I don't get any parking tickets.
Muy amable el personal, había mapas de la ciudad e información de actividades. Café, té, leche y galletitas gratis en el comedor, aunque no hice uso de las instalaciones de cocina había cocina, nevera. Habitación muy limpia y servicio de habitaciones diario. Cama cómoda. La habitación individual es pequeña pero no necesitaba más. Aunque está en el mismo centro de la ciudad y a unos 10 minutos de las calles principales, hay que subir una cuesta de una, dos calles un poco empinada para llegar al hotel, hay unas vistas bonitas desde arriba ya que está en la pendiente. El tranposrte público a unos 5, 10 minutos andando y tienen buena frecuencia. Hay varios supermercados cerca. Solo estaba para dormir y fue más que suficiente, Precio correcto.
The location is nice. The price is fair
In my first night there was no hot water in all the hotel. When I dared to complain and ask for a solution because I really needed a warm shower, I did not get any solutions from the staff and was warned they will call security if I keep pushing and complaining. Very bad customer service
In addition, I have to say They gave me a different room than the one I ordered, the room was very dirty, and the fridge in the room did not work.

La camera era pulita ma nella doccia c’erano dei capelli. Inoltre non funzionava l’acqua calda quando siamo arrivati
Emplacement intéressant, prix raisonnable, personnel souriant et enthousiaste. Cuisine pratique et propice à faire de belles rencontres. Frigo partage très apprécié. Plancher chauffant de la salle de bain est très plaisant. Le lit est très mou, mais tout de même confortable.
Nous savions que la chambre serait petite, mais elle gagnerait à être mieux aménagée : plus de crochets et de tablettes permettrait de mieux nous organiser pendant notre séjour. Une table de nuit (ou juste une petite tablette judicieusement placée) de chaque côté du lit serait fort pratique. Plus de crochets et de tablettes dans la salle de bain privée serait nécessaires. La ventilation de la salle de bain n’est pas suffisante, elle est constamment humide et a dea taches de moisissures.
