Pros:

Direkt an der Innenstadt gelegen mit einem guten Restaurant. Die Zimmer waren sauber und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Ausstattung ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, es ist nicht sehr geräumig und auf der Klobrille mussten wir sitzend balancieren.
Das Frühstück war übersichtlich und der Kaffee leider ungenießbar

Prima hotel.Goed restaurant, lekker gegeten.Niet te prijzig. En leuk personeel.

Cons:

Toen we aan kwamen de receptioniste, niet echt vriendelijk. En tweepersoons kamer mag best 2 stoelen hebben!!!! Daar was de kamer te klein voor zei ze. Vond op gang stoel en die meegenomen er paste makkelijk 2 stoelen in.

Great central hotel in Wesel – friendly staff, free parking and a cracking restaurant
Pros:

I stayed at Hotel Kaiserhof while I was stationed in Wesel for a short period (UK military, based at Schill-Kaserne). It was a really convenient place to stay.

The location is spot on — right in the town centre, and you can walk to pretty much everything. There’s a supermarket directly behind the hotel, which came in handy. Big plus as well: a free car park.

There’s a restaurant downstairs in the building and it’s reopened this year. I ate there a couple of times and the steaks were genuinely excellent.

Breakfast was really good with plenty of choice, and it starts early (from 6am), which suited my schedule.

I started out in a standard room, which was a bit on the small side. As I ended up staying longer, I moved to a comfort room — much better for an extended stay. More space and a balcony as well, which I appreciated.

Overall, I was very happy. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, everything was clean, and the price felt fair. Also, sorting the bill through the travel office/booking team was straightforward every time.

I’d definitely recommend it, and I’d stay there again.
