Suite not worth the price – disappointing stay

The location of the hotel is very good and central in Manila.

Cons:

I specifically booked a suite, which was significantly more expensive than the standard rooms. However, the only noticeable difference was a small refrigerator in the room. Otherwise the room looked almost identical to a normal room. For the price, this was definitely not worth it.
The room had no windows, the beds were very uncomfortable, and several basic items that are normally provided in hotel rooms were missing. There were also visible water damage stains on the ceiling, which made the room look poorly maintained.
In addition, my international flight was unexpectedly changed. Even though I informed the hotel about the situation, one night was removed but I still had to pay for it, and no refund or price adjustment was offered.
During check-in the staff also asked me to pay for the room again, even though I had already paid online. Only after I showed proof of payment was the situation resolved. Without this proof I might have had to pay twice.
Overall, the stay was disappointing. Despite the good location, I would not recommend this hotel, especially for travelers who care about comfort and fair value for money.
