Un trato excelente y muy buen servicio y muy buena atención 10/10
Relatively quiet, clean, walking distance to main square. Lovely patio upstairs and garden area downstairs. Small store steps away. Small kitchenette in each suite. Family owned and run. Reasonably priced. Safe neighbourhood and easy access to buses or quiet streets for walking. Helpful staff.
I had stayed here several years ago and loved it!
This time I was in a different suite and the decor and amenities were minimal in comparison. No kettle, peeling knife or bowl big enough to wash fruits or vegetables. You can request and pay for a large jug of water but there was no water pump until I requested one.
Lighting in the suite was very poor - really couldn’t see to do anything once the sun went down as there was only a low wattage ceiling light in the main room.
In my suite there was no privacy if I wanted to see outside as the main window (where there was a lovely view) was also at the top of a set of public steps. So either you kept the shade down or everyone looked to your suite as they passed by.
It was quite cool in the mornings and evenings so I asked about a portable heater, which they provided. However the heat flow was directed up and with the high ceilings, it produced negligible heat in the room.
This hotel is located up hill from the mail square. This was not a problem for me but it is important to note as it is VERY steep for walking and could be challenging for some.
It is easy to meet people at this hotel as many people use to patio and garden areas and several guests appear to be staying there for 3 or 4 weeks or more.
Excellent location, muy centrifico
bathroom a bit worn and dated
Staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful !
Location was perfect !
The view from our room was exceptional .
The shared patio beautiful .
Very beautiful spot either lovely gardens and gorgeous views.
It was cold in one of the suites we had. They provided a heater however and we stayed warm enough.
We loved the convenient location within a short walk to the center square and park with its historic church. The hotel felt like an authentic Mexican experience with its old-style colorful tiles, beautiful gardens, open-air courtyard to sit and relax, as well as their 2nd story patio with a beautiful view of the city and adjacent mountains.
Excelente servicio. El baño pequeño pero accesible.
The property is spacious with a lovely view from the terrace. Our suite, No.6, was clean and comfortable. The shower was okay but lacking in much pressure. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Situated up the hill a little out of the centre was a nice walking distance basically to everything. We enjoyed our stay immensely.
Nothing really, if I was going to nitpick then I would say it’s our suite was a little ‘tired’. I would’ve been nice to have a kettle for tea instead we had to use a much too large saucepan on the gas stove to boil water.
The hacienda is beautiful run by a local family. The rooms/apts are clean and tidy. Comfortable beds, not too hard not too soft. The property is beautifully kept with lush gardens and it feels very homey. Beautiful views!
A little more in the kitchen would be nice but it is sufficient.
Spacious room with kitchenette, dining room, living room, two fireplaces, and bedroom and bath. Very clean, very friendly staff, pretty little courtyard with plants. Historic feeling property - gardens were pretty. Wifi was good and I was able to join calls and work remotely.
The furniture in the rooms is very dated; the room lacked a bit of charm, though I was very grateful for the affordable option. Other rooms looked they had views or looked out on the garden, but room #2 looked out onto a street and electric lines, so wasn't particularly picturesque for remote working, which was part of the reason I'd chosen this hotel.
This isn't so much what I didn't like - but be prepared for the big hill walking back to town. I had read other reviews noting the hill. It's no joke! I was out of breath every day when walking back to the room (which I did a few times a day) and consider myself fairly fit. Even though it's just a ten minute walk to/from the center, be prepared if you're staying here!
The location was very good, close to everything in San Miguel. We liked having a kitchen and the space in the rooms. The staff and the administration were really kind to us, and help us to get our things done. We will come back for sure.
The rooms were a bit cold for this time in the year, and the heating possibilities were not so good.
Excelente el personal
Personal muy atento y amable, muy buen hotel, recomendado!!
Esta como a medio kilómetro del centro pero tiene parqueo para vehículos, pero se llega caminando perfectamente
