Disappointing and Unfortunate
Pros:

I had a very pleasant experience when I stayed at the Baton Rouge O’Neal Lane (Denham Springs) location 7/20-7/27/2026. Due to a death in my family, I needed to return to Baton Rouge so I booked a room for 8/4-8/10/2026. I used my debit card to secure the room online with the understanding that my card would only be used to hold the room. When plans changed and I cancelled my reservation on 8/3/2026, I noticed a pending charge for $591.00. I called the hotel and was told that charge would be”drop off” and that my card would not be debited. However, approximately 24 hours later, my card was debited for the $591.00. I reached out to the General Manager Debbie Barnes via email on two separate occasions to discuss this matter, and did not receive a response. However, after my first stay at the property, she reached out immediately via email to thank me for the glowing review I posted. So to have this matter essentially ignored, was disappointing to say the least. I ended up having to file a dispute with my bank and wait for the funds to be returned to my account.

A wonderful place to stay!!!
Pros:

A wonderful place to stay. It’s quiet convenient to stores very clean very organized plenty of amenities pool exercise room, laundry room, and many more. Wonderful breakfast and the staff is more than willing to help in any way they can.

We enjoyed our stay for the short time we were there. Everyone was friendly and very accommodating.
Pros:

It was a good location for us since it so close to the places we plan to visit. The bed was comfortable. We also enjoyed the waffles & the coffee for breakfast. Enjoyed the fitness center also.

Cons:

When we checked into our room, it had a musty smell to it. But, it smelt better after turning on the air conditioner & using a small can of Lysol disinfectant spray.

Very nice stay!
Pros:

The hotel was very clean and modern. Great pricing for the quality. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was so so, but hot. I would definitely stay here again.

Alyssa breakfast shined
Pros:

Handicap room in se5cond floor by the elevator, and above pool. But it was a slow night, and quiet.
Alyssa , the breakfast cook kept the place clean and freshened food often. I have been coming here for many years,and this was the best breakfast I have had here. Very basic ,but thanks to Allyssa ,she was on top of it.
