Pros:

The hotel was beautiful, quiet and clean

Cons:

The tv wasn't working but we were only there for one night so I didn't want to make a fuss about it

Christmas visit seeing family
Pros:

It's an old favourite of ours - always love returning. Lovely atmosphere, rooms are lovely as is the new refurb...& refit..... staff are friendly - Michael's customer service is always exceptional- Thank you ✨✨

Cons:

On this occasion they were busy with several Christmas parties. It wasn't the most pleasant of experiences on this occasion - I made a complaint to management with little resolve. Found this most unsatisfactory on this occasion. I like to see people enjoy themselves but personnel from companies there for staff parties should realise guests residing are trying to relax too & enjoy a good nights sleep......

Pros:

Good location, comfortable bed and parking

Cons:

The bathroom was very dated. The water went out and I couldn’t get a shower or get water to brush my teeth. There was an event which delayed me leaving.

Lovely place but attention is needed in some areas
Pros:

Staff are very friendly and helpful - room decor is very pleasant with excellent standard of cleanliness & comfort

Cons:

Good range of choice at breakfast but food was hard from being left under lights too long - bacon was rigid and fried eggs were hard. Also, at this price point for b&b, tea / coffee & toast should be offered at table - not self-service. Either breakfast or toast is going cold while you are trying to get one or other.

There was also an issue with water in hotel room - pressure decreased to very poor flow from mid-morning on so shower would not have been possible - really not acceptable anywhere and particularly at a price point of €269 for one night b&b.
Tea tray in room skimpily stocked - 3 teabags for 2 people.
