Delightful
Pros:

I have no complaints, everything was exceptional. From the lovely friendly staff to the relaxing sun loungers by the pool. Great range of communal areas and amenities. Would recommend.

Peaceful hotel with lots of potential
Pros:

Lovely gardens and seating to relax in peace and quiet
Nice balcony and mountain view
F&B staff great
Great for active hillwalkers (up early, early bed, wholesome food)

Cons:

I could not see/find a smoke alarm in our bedroom
The WC/toilet was extremely small and there was no extraction fan for ventilation
Lights above the bed were too bright and ‘white’
There was only tea in room by the kettle, no coffee
Slippers for guest use are reusable plastic ones. Good for sustainability but did not look nice.


Quality of food not my taste. Heavy crème based sauces. Limited menu.
Price-quality seemed to be out of balance
After 22:30 it was extremely quiet in the hotel bar area.
Small point, but some breakfast crockery chipped (lack of attention to detail)

Overall, hotel has enormous potential but at the moment it is over priced and lacks attention to detail in both the rooms and F&B departments.

c'était tout de même un agréable séjour
Pros:

La grandeur de la chambre, l'environnement, le restaurant très très bon, le petit déjeuner copieux et très varié

Cons:

La propreté de la piscine, il y avait beaucoup de mouches dans l'eau et on a du passer l'épuisette pour nettoyer avant de se baigner.
Le fait qu'il n'y ait pas de climatisation ou ventilateur dans la chambre car il faisait très chaud
