Staff, food and room were all very good

Comfortable old inn, with very nice food in the restaurant. The breakfast was also good, with local produce and a range of dishes to chooose from. In a quiet, secluded location, but very handy for local attractions including the Piece Hall in Halifax, Hebden Bridge, Shibden Hall - home of Anne Lister (Gentleman Jack) and Saltaire. Friendly, helpful staff and a good pint of beer in the bar.
We had a fabulous stay at Shibden Mill,
friendly efficient staff, clean rooms with bright decor to suit the history of the building. Excellent food and ambience in the bar and dining area.
There are several short walks from the inn, along the brook, and on well-defined paths in the surrounding country side.

Very good vegan options on the dinner menu which included proper puddings (not just sorbet or fruit) and good options at breakfast. Very pleasant ambience in the pub/restaurant
