Mandarin Oriental, Macau

Wonderful, elegant hotel close to everything. No casino here, peace and and quiet. We had a spacious, beautiful room with a view of the lake. Breakfast for all possible tastes with gourmet preparations. We loved the Vida Rica bar and their cocktails. But the best part of the hotel was its staff - Melody at reception, Roshan at the pool, Bernadette at Vida Rica and the kind concierge boy and girl whose name I can't remember, all adorable. Mandarin Oriental is lucky to have them.

All the staff at Mandarin Oriental Macau treated us warmly and kindly, and everything was perfect. Not only the front desk and concierge staff, but also the restaurant staff during breakfast buffet took great care of our child and our family. In particular, Melvin from the restaurant welcomed us every morning and looked after us very well, for which we are extremely grateful. It was our first stay at a Mandarin Oriental hotel, but it made us want to visit other Mandarin Oriental properties as well. We highly recommend Mandarin Oriental Macau. We sincerely appreciate the staff’s wonderful service.

Excellent luxury hotel very conveniently located for business travel given close proximity to most banks and government offices, especially if you’re looking for something that doesn’t feel like an afterthought to a casino. Also quite close to popular running routes like Sai Van Lake and the climb up Penha Hill.

Rooms were more modern and newer than similarly priced hotels in Hong Kong, including better amenities that included a very fancy Bluetooth speaker.

Impeccable service is what truly made my stay stand out, starting from the pickup at the ferry terminal through the drop off at the same place a few days later. Christine and Giann made me feel very welcome during dinner at the Vida Rica Bar, surprising me with a serving of dessert. Cristiano with the concierge staff made sure that all me needs were taken care of, including dinner reservations at Taipa and the transportation arrangements to get there; he was also greeting runners coming in the morning with a fresh towel and a cold drink.

Iris was extremely friendly and polite. She helped us upgrade to a suite, has a wonderful personality, and offered very attentive and thoughtful service.

We were so happy during our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful, our room had amazing views of the Macau Tower. Food was amazing, breakfast was delicious.
But what really stands out is the kind and friendly staff. Our lovely valet Michelle Liew made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. Raechel at the lobby lounge gave us many great tips for seeing Macau. And Melvin made sure we had an amazing breakfast.

We had a wonderful experience at the Mandarin Oriental in Macau. From the moment of arrival to when we left, every detail was accounted for. They went above and beyond in caring for us during our stay. We loved the location as it was close to the water, but easily walkable to many sites. Highly recommend. My check-in experience is something that I would like to share. A small lobby, a busy time, many newly rich people. The hotel staff are well trained.., they directed people flow with good understanding of what is going on in the lobby area. Forrest, reception staff, was considerate to the new arrival. He was warm, patient and offered a small talk to calm down his guests. Forrest also took extra help to make his guest comfortable and welcomed. Congratulations to hotel management.., you must have invested good amount of training and it is well paid.

One become a fan of Mandarin Oriental as soon as you enter into Mandarin Oriental Macau!

The warm welcoming started from as soon as we stepped out of the car, the gentleman at the door helped us with our luggage with friendly smiles throughout.

Forrest tenderly helped us with our checked-in while kindly suggested us with lunch at the beautiful Vida Rica Restaurant. He kindly brought us to the restaurant and helped arranging with the best table as well. He later on brought us the signature fan of MO Macau as well!

Our dining experience was so memorable as well with the heartfelt team of Melvin, Faye and other ladies. We started with a very nice champagne while Melvin warmly asked as if what we are celebrating - it’s our dating anniversary! The dimsum quality is superb while Melvin and team has added a warm personal touch on the dessert plate & a small bouquet arranged by Faye congratulating our anniversary!

The room view is so beautiful. The sunset view from the room is magnificent too.

We will not forget about this stay and thank you again team!

The visit was a few months ago, but I still want to say thank you to Christine and Mark for their hospitality. My friend and I came to enjoy the beautiful scenery along with great food and drinks. Christine was friendly and patient in introducing their signature dishes and drinks to us, and she also surprised us with a cake when she learned we were celebrating our birthdays. We truly appreciated it.

I celebrated my wife’s birthday at Mandarin Oriental Macau. The Butler and Housekeeping teams of the Hotel were so kind to prepare lovely birthday treats for her. Though we encountered some hiccups during our stay, Michelle and her colleagues of the Bulter Team took care of them promptly and professionally. The hospitality offered by Mandarin Oriental Macau continued to be top-notch as any other Mandarin Oriental Hotels. Highly recommended for those who would like to celebrate special occasions or just to enjoy the relaxing vibe.
