Decent but overall a somewhat mixed review.
Pros:

The owners were really responsive and nice, the apartment was decent and really spacious, the pool and spa were really nice , and the location was handy with access to the tram and beach. It was great having access to a pretty well-stocked kitchen and both an in-unit washer and dryer. Pretty decent value for money.

Cons:

This stay could really be improved if there weren't so many strict resort policies. For example, I had to get up extra early to bring all my trash across the complex to the dumpster on the street before I left. Plus everyone is requested to only take 4-minute showers (and the hot water doesn't last much longer after this) and you're only allowed 2 rolls of toilet paper etc for the whole stay. I was also never quite sure when the office opening hours were. I think changing these few things would make the stay a lot more comfortable.

Great budget, clean simple accommodation in a great spot, very well kept apartment.
Pros:

Portobello apartment was very clean and comfortable, it ticked all our needs for our Gold Coast stay. So handy to shops, casino, trams dining ect excellent value for money which was a big concern for us. For the price you certainly couldn’t go wrong. Very happy will definitely stay there again.

Cons:

Not much, maybe no undercover walking to unit in the rain, but that’s being super picky.

Pros:

Great location. Nearby Pacific Fair shopping centre and only a few minutes walk to the Mermaid Beach.

Cons:

Can be more cleaner, especially the floor. The mattress can be more comfortable especially for elderly like us.
