Not important but the room was large enough to have incorporated an armchair ( between bed and window): esp as desk chair was rather dated and heavy with little space to move it back , just to the side ,

The location in the centre of the town is ideal and only a few minutes from either railway station. The receptionists were all very friendly and helpful.
There was a definite draft in my room. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from as the window was closed tightly.
Location, cleanliness, room.
Nightmare with car parking. Instructed to go to Centenary car park under hotel and had 20 minutes grace period to pay for parking. When arrived at reception, informed that "24 hour" car park actually finished at midnight which is no good. Got back to car within 20 minutes and moved it to NCP car park for 24 hours, but not clear whether we still had to pay for first car park, so bought an hour ticket. Next time we came to Bradford we got a bus.
The beds are extremely comfortable, with no noise or springiness, and they’re definitely the main reason I would stay again! Reception staff were nice and helpful.
Bathroom was clean. But carpet in the room definitely needs a thorough vacuum. The ironing board cover needs replacing, as it lacks sufficient foam or padding. Unfortunately, the metal base left markings on my trousers.
Decent location.
Our go to hotel for our stays in Bradford but experience this time wasn’t great. Service was extremely poor! Checked in after midnight & night receptionist didn’t pass message on to morning team how we had 2 separate bookings (since we had to add an extra day) and the following morning they kept coming and telling us to check out? As it ‘wasn’t on the system’, ‘there was nothing in the handover from the night before’ and how we ‘should’ve checked out some time ago’.
House keeping didn’t clean the room on the first day, when I went to speak to reception - the couple in front of me were also complaining how their room hadn’t been cleaned the day before. Receptionist told me that housekeeping had left by then & asked if needed anything. I mentioned a few things and she said they’ll have them sent up within half an hour - they brought the stuff almost 3 hours later.
Following day, room was ‘cleaned’, I noticed that bedding wasn’t changed (as my toddler had accidentally dirtied the duvet which is how I could tell). Rang reception to have it changed, house keeping didn’t seem very pleased when they came. I politely told them how we would leave the room whilst they changed it - they didn’t bother replying to me & simply ignored me.
