Pros:

Location

Cons:

Only 3 pillows for 2 people. Had to ask twice to get another pillow. The bathroom was not as clean as it should be. A really long black hair on the floor when we arrived.

Central to location for theatre, live music, museum and university
Pros:

Having stayed a few times, I found the staff more helpful and friendly this time, especially as it seemed to be a very busy weekend. We had 3 twins booked for 6 of us celebrating a birthday and reception very kindly got us rooms close together so we could swap things like straighteners and clothes whilst getting ready!!

In the past I have found the hotel very noisy, but this time.

Cons:

Nothing really. Just a couple of housekeeping things that were missing.....twin room and only 1 hand towel and one bath towel, no tissues in the box. Please consider putying at least one plug socket with a charging point in each room.

Good hotel in good location, however the waiting time for cooked breakfast was poor.
Pros:

Clean and tidy. Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Breakfast was poor. Customers had to wait a long time for hot buffet food due to staff being unable to supply enough cooked food for the amount of customers waiting.

Good value for money
Pros:

Good location, right next to the theatre and short walk to town. Staff friendly. Good value for money.

Cons:

Not very clean, bathroom needs a good clean, especially the grout in shower (going mouldy) and shower door needs a good scrub around the bottom, plenty of hairs left from previous guest. Advertised with parking but have to pay extra, also instructions sent regarding parking were confusing, put in the post code for park bunny took us to two different car parks and non were correct, should tell guests that it is underneath the hotel and to use hotel postcode. Breakfast not great either, we went at 9.30 and not much left, few pieces of squashed bread, barely any pastries etc, expected more for the time we went (breakfast finishes at 11)

Comfortable and clean, great breakfast. Walking distance int the city centre
Pros:

Regular visitor the hotel has become an instant go-to when in the area. Comfortable and clean. Although it wouldn’t go amiss if they added complimentary items in the room starting with a biscuit.

Cons:

The bathrooms are outdated and need improving. Parking needs to be cheaper for guests which it is not and needs to be not in the carpark which closes at midnight. Also as a female traveller with young children it doesn’t feel safe as the walk is dark.
