If you’re loaded, stay at the Peninsula. If you are up for some fun in the heart of the Old City, Sultania is a solid op
Pros:

Sultania is superbly located - five minute walk from the four top places you are likely to visit (Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace) and about 15mins from the Grand Bazar and Spice Bazar. Tram stop is 30 seconds away for getting to the French Quarter, Taksim Square and Ferry terminals etc

Rooms were excellent for the price, spotlessly clean and quirky interiors (in a great way - see the pics on their website). After a manic day on foot, grab a bottle of chilled wine in the rooftop bar with views across to Hagia Sophia - pretty good all-in-all.

Staff are super-welcoming and super-friendly, very helpful and can sort out anything you need for your stay - they even brought my wife a Birthday Cake on her Birthday - sweet!
A great team always with big smiles.

10/10 for everything.

Everything was great except the dinners!

Loved the variety for breakfast.

Cons:

Your Gluten-free food is NOT gluten-free. It may work for someone that is gluten sensitive but, I am a full blown Celiac (totally allergic to gluten in all forms). Your dinners made me extremely sick! You need to reword your menus to gluten sensitive, because your food is most certainly NOT gluten-free!

Great hotel in good location
Pros:

Easy walking distance to most tourist destinations. Short walk to the tramway for other. Lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. Clean well appointed spacious rooms. Lovely hearty breakfast provided. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet location despite being central.
