ottimo hotel, estremamente pulito, ben collegato ad amalfi, lo staff gentilissimo soprattutto il signor carlo che ha mostrato una gentilezza e professionalità difficile da trovare oggi giorno
The location is not bad - 4 minutes walk from the city center, 10 minutes to Amalfi. The staff was really friendly and welcoming. The views from the rooftop and room windows- amazing. The room was clean, spacious and beautiful. The breakfast - one of the best hotel breakfasts.
The value for money wasn’t good.
The is no parking. The nearest parking is in Amalfi.
Our jacuzzi in the room wasn’t working, and we didn’t receive any assistance from the staff to fix the problem during our stay.
The views were breathtaking, but in Amalfi you have that kind of views on every corner.
PRENOTATE ALTROVE!
Good place to rest near the sea with family, with nice and friendly stuff, especially my new friend Carlo is the best employe there, best wishes to hotel and Carlo
Śniadanie całkiem dobre. Fajna lokalizacja
Great Staff , very nice view!
Everything was great - the views of Atrani and the ocean cove from our balcony superior room were really spectacular, and beds were super comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great and varied, and the coffee bar staff were super friendly. The reception team helped us arrange many logistical aspects and activities, including our transport from Naples train station, which was much better priced than anything I could find online. It really helped make the trip special and memorable.
Traveling with a large group of 10, the journey up to the hotel from the only taxi street drop-off location is about 80 steps and was a little difficult with heavy bags - this was well-stated, and the hotel did have a few porters meet us to assist, but with so many of us, several of us got a good work out with the haul.
We loved our stay here at the hotel! The staff were so friendly and helped us with any questions or demands we needed. It’s also a short walk to Amalfi so it’s the perfect place to stay if you are looking for something quiet and relaxing. And the view of the ocean was incredible!
Staff (Carlo, Alexandra, Emilia and Katia) were lovely. Location was safe and quiet, yet walkable to Amalfi city. Could improve the room cleanliness as not cleaned thoroughly on a daily basis.
The hotel was very nice, our room was absolutely beautiful and the view was amazing. Water did back up in the shower though. Grateful for the cleaning staff who cleaned the room everyday. The front desk staff was very nice as well. Only thing we really did not like was one of the staff members took more tip than we had wanted to give. We told him to take €5 and he took €10 which was fine and we didn’t say anything because we appreciated his help, as it is a long way up. For checkout though he brought our bags down with out us requesting his help, then when at the bottom he did not let us leave until we gave him money. That made us uncomfortable. We did not have change and were in a rush and we had to wait for him to get change. I think it was inappropriate to beg for money, especially considering we gave him €10 to begin with, and it was just all around unprofessional.
We had the pleasure of staying at Palazzo Ferraioli for 4 nights in September, and I wish we had been there longer. Upon arrival, the porter team greeted us and graciously carried our luggage up the numerous flights of stairs to the hotel lobby where we continued to be greeted by the lovely team members. We had the Liz Taylor room and it was perfect. The view is the view you’re looking for from the experience - highly recommend.
We also enjoyed aperitivo on the terrace, watching the boats come and go while enjoying the peace and quiet of Atrani. It’s the perfect retreat after a day spend exploring Amalfi or other villages along the coast. The town is small but with no shortage of restaurants to choose from as well as the perfect little bottle shop and a great alternative to crowded beach clubs in other parts of the coast.
We greatly enjoyed our time in Atrani and at Palazzo Ferraioli and would recommend it to anyone researching places to stay. (Don’t let the stairs intimidate you - they are wide and manageable. Only a concern for those with mobility issues as there are not handrails.)
Aside from the fact that when you arrive in a place like Atrani you are amazed by its beauty, unfortunately within just a few minutes of walking to reach this hotel, there are no signs indicating its location (considering the structure and layout of the houses), which causes confusion.
The next issue is the reception staff: long delays in handing over the room, rude behavior, lack of attention to guests, impatience in their attitude, and so on. Finally, because of the many stairs, there are staff who carry luggage down the steps. Unfortunately, after check-out, when we handed our suitcase to one of these staff members, they dropped it, and as a result the suitcase’s wheel and bottom part broke. We only noticed this after arriving in Naples.
The staff member who was carrying our luggage threw it, and the wheel broke, which caused us a lot of trouble carrying it afterwards.
Night shift stuff was angry because we ask about change rate
The cost of the hotel is too high for the services they provide
Everyone was so helpful and accommodating even though it was a last minute booking since our other Hotel refuse us check in because the ferry was 10 minutes late.
If you can make it up the 70-80 something steps with your luggage, you’re in for a treat. This hotel is very kind. Very clean. The free breakfast buffet is incredible. Wide variety of options and everything was fantastic. Best breakfast buffet I’ve had from an hotel.
Things your gps probably won’t tell you. There is a private pedestrian tunnel on the edge of Amalfi to take you through the hill into Atrani. Avoiding the winding mountain road where there is no sidewalks. Makes walking everywhere an easy breeze.
The staff is very polite and professional. Our room was clean. Spacious. Gorgeous view of the ocean and mountains from our balcony.
Came here for part of our honeymoon and we were very pleased. Thank you
Overall good experience. However plumbing in room - both the tubs and showers need maintenance. Continuous backups and poor drainage. Constant smell of sewage coming from pipes.
Kitchen and dining staff are wonderful. Lovely ladies that work very hard.
Lovely stay in Atrani. It is far more authentic and quieter than Amalfi which we found incredibly busy and overwhelming. Hotel was very nice and clean with nice staff. Only downside is the steps getting up to the hotel.
Definitely was not a 4 star hotel. My room was damp the entire time there. Bed was firm and finding the hotel initially was very difficult. Trying to communicate with the staff about how to access the property turned into them sending me responses in caps lock. Not a great start to the trip.
