Ona Aucanada Club

Sewage smell throughout the property for our entire stay, we were told we would be transferred to another villa- this was a lie and the smell was never fixed despite the receptionist reassuring us it would be after experiencing the smell himself.
A/C in 2 out of the 3 bedrooms was non-functional for the whole stay. Forcing us to sleep with windows open attracting mosquito bites, only on the penultimate day did were portable AC units into the rooms, which sounded like an engine running in the room. We would obviously not have picked this hotel had we known there was no A/C.
Dirty towels were part of their "amenities".
We made the property manager aware of these issues multiple times and requested compensation, who kept telling us to "take it up with Expedia".
The minimum compensation I was expecting was what I paid for the booking, as we did not have A/C (as advertised), clean towels (as advertised)- but was instead met with false promises of maintenance/cleaning/relocation and a smell so bad it left us with nausea.
On returning back home, I filed the complaint to Expedia who said they can't do anything as the booking was non refundable and the property manager wouldn't waive the cancellation fee. Of course, I asked Expedia to push as this was not acceptable. They replied saying Hotel Aucanada would only refund less than half of the cost of the stay and implied I should be grateful "they did not charge a penalty", and that's their final stance.
Disappointed.

A good basic resort. Not too fancy so perfect for our kids to run around and feel comfortable. The staff are very friendly, the pools are great. Lovely that everyone gets personal space both indoors and outdoors.
But one thing that really bothered me is the 15 euro per day charge for parking. They do not tell you this will be an additional charge when you book. It's a hidden cost. If they want to charge more they need to be upfront about the parking fee at the time of booking. Also it's disrespectful to their neighbours; the local street is filled with rental cars even though each apartment comes with it's own parking spot, that sits empty. I do not appreciate how they treat their neighbours and for that reason, we are only likely to return if this policy changes.

Schöne Aussicht

Zeer mooie omgeving zeer vriendelijk personeel. Goed ontbijt. Verouderde keuken en kleine defecten (lampen, tuinstoelen). Airco was prima, fijne zwembaden. Parking was helaas bijbetalen.

Lugnt och familjärt lägenhetshotell med fint poolområde och fin utsikt över Alcudiabukten. Fin utsikt mot havet från vår balkong. God och varierad frukost och även god kvällsbuffe och vi fick god hjälp att lösa alternativ till två av oss med Celiaki.

Für 4 Sterne habe ich mehr erwartet.
Appartment war stark veraltet, Türen ließen sich schlecht schließen.

Bilder sahen bei der Buchung deutlich besser aus.

Vraiment très calme, ideal pour se reposer.
Situé en haut d'une colline, donc voiture ou bonne condition physique nécessaire.
Petit déjeuner impeccable et diner avec buffet à taille humaine (pas de sentiment de gâchis de nourriture) et régulièrement approvisionné.
La villa était très bien équipée avec une jolie vue sur mer.

Prisvärt boende i lugnt läge för dig med tillgång till hyrbil eller som kan tänka dig att gå ned till Alcudia (ca två kilometer)

Detta var femte gången jag bodde hos Ona Aucanada Club. Som alltid trevlig personal och lugnt läge vilket jag föredrar framför stöket nere i Alcudia.

Lägenheterna börjar bli slitna och skulle må bra av en renovering. Dock väldigt rent och sköna sängar. Inget att klaga på egentligen. Rymliga lägenheter! Två sovrum och stort kök som standard på alla lägenheter! Finns tvättmaskin i alla lägenheter. Rymligt kylskåp samt frys.

Poolen är ouppvärmd. Tv i både vardagsrum och ett av sovrummen. Numera är WIFI gratis, vilket uppskattas. Tv:n i sovrummet kunde streama youtube vilket uppskattades av yngsta sonen.

Gratis Parkering på gatan bredvid hotellet, samt längst upp på gatan (större parkering). Vill du stå direkt utanför lägenheten kostar det numera pengar (vilket det inte är värt...)

Joli établissement avec de belles vues mer, proche de la côte.
Le personnel est sympathique.
Petit déjeuner très bien et varié, le dîner est nettement moins bien.

Geräumiges, sauberes Apartment, große Terrasse. Hübsche Anlage, etwas abgelegen, dadurch aber schön ruhig. Auto unbedingt empfehlenswert. Kostenlose Parkplätze vor der Anlage. Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal.
- Beim Frühstücksbuffet war leider immer etwas leer (kein Brot, keine Milch, kein Käse etc.) Wenn dann aufgefüllt wurde, begann die morgendliche „Schlacht“ ums Buffet - das hat wirklich keinen Spaß gemacht. Nur 2 Kaffeeautomaten und zu wenig Tische für die Anzahl der Gäste machte das Ganze nicht besser. Schade!

Very calm

Wir waren im Februar dort und in dem Appartement war es doch sehr kalt. Mit der Klimaanlage konnte man die Räume nicht wirklich erwärmen.
Die Lage ist super,ein Auto von Vorteil.

Große und gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Mit 2 Schlafzimmern und einem großen Wohn-/Eßbereich ist ordentlich viel Platz vorhanden.
Einziges Manko: Unser Appartment hatte eine hohe Hecke vor und hinter dem Haus, so dass nur wenig Tageslicht einfällt. Aber sonst waren wir zufrieden.

Alles ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen.

Spacious apartment with comfortable beds. Beautiful view of the sea. The water pressure was terrible in the shower on the second floor. Nicely kept surroundings. Great with the washing machine! The early checkout (at 9:00) was less good. Minimum stay 2 nights but we could have stayed longer if we had time.

The room was fine, property great. I did not appreciate a staff member that serviced our room leaving a cigarette butt on the counter. We paid for the breakfast package. The hot food was rarely hot, mostly just barely warm. No one wants luke warm eggs, hashbrowns, etc. If the items had been hot, the breakfast would be good.

Huoneisto oli ihan kiva ehkä hieman kulunut jo. Suihku tila ahdas ja vesien ohjaus pielessä.
Sesonki oli ohi mutta keli lämmin niin kovin harmitti että kaikki altaat olivat poissa käytöstä.
Paikan tietojen päivitys olisi myös ajankohtaista mainittu sauna ollut jo neljä vuotta suljettu.
Matkat majoitus paikasta eivät ole pitkät, mutta tärkeä huomioida suuri korkeusero. Liikkumista varten ehdottomasti kannattaa vuokrata auto tai sähköpyörä näillä liikkuminen ja alueen nähtävyyksien näkeminen helppoa. Toki kävellenkin pärjää mutta kuntoa ja aikaa ottaa.

Property was quiet and the staff we engaged with were friendly and polite.

You need a car really for this one.

Only disappointment was no oven in the kitchen as we do self cater but we did manage ok with the hob & microwave.
