The Golden Crown Hotel & Spa, Colva

Not the best hotel needs updating as the rooms were tatty and well used ,most staff were pleasant, , more russian tourists then English in the hotel

The entire hotel is moldy. The morning breakfast is por and not good quality's food. The room have low standard and the staff are not so energetic to help you or support your needs. I have booked a room for 3 nights and after the first night my eyes and face have been affected by the moldy in the rooms. So please take this hotel out from your sistem. Is worst than hotel.

We found the hotel to be ok but a little tired . The fan in our room didn't work though wasn't a major problem as a/c was ok . The bathroom decour definately required some TLC . Tried the buffet breakfast once and was very disappointed in that . Overall all though better than alot of other Indian hotels we have stayed in .

The tiles in the bathroom and also the washbasin were broken.
F& B at breakfast was just okay although separate money was taken for the same. They were not accommodative for early morning bf.

Our stay for 3 nights was very pleasant. Dining is a little expensive but would expect better food quality at that price. Had booked 3 rooms and every one were quite happy.

A.C. in some some rooms not effective...specially in 102

Unfortunately my experience with this hotel was not pleasant. The outside facilities were nice but the room was dingy. The towels and sheets were itchy, telephone in the room did not work, and I had 3 cats jumping on my table during dinner and breakfast. Also, get ready to pay - wifi, limited; in-room safe - service charge; toothbrush - service charge. It's nickel and diming guests to death for a supposed 4-star hotel. Would not stay here again.

Terrible! Don't go there, the pool was dirty and non operational our entire stay. Wifi doesn't work, housekeeping was shabby.

Was here for a family stay, with kids. Almost all pool facing rooms, courteous staff, big clean pool, food was fine, the buffet dinner served during the stay, which was in the Christmas holidays, was mostly Asian, Indian, with a few continental dishes. The beach was a 5 min walk from the hotel. As we knew a common friend of the Hotel's Management, by co-incidence, we had the pleasure of being met & greeted by Mr. Desmond Sequeira, the F & B Manager. On the whole, a hotel with good ambience, cleanliness, styling, value for the money paid, with a clean beach next to it.

Nice location, close from beach. But overall quality is not enough compare to the price.

We stayed in this hotel for 3 days and we received one of the best ever hotel experiences we ever had, 100% value for money . We will definitely stay in this hotel if we visit Goa again and will strongly recommend to others. Best wishes to the hotel staff.

Enjoyed our stay at the Golden Crown Hotel. Staff was very obliging and courteous. Food was excellent! Room was clean and no complaints. I would stay there again should I travel back to Goa. Location was good. Walk to the beach was five minutes and the walk in to town was easy and felt safe. Access of taxi's and scooter's outside the front door of the hotel was easy and affordable.

Very nice hotel. Large and comfy rooms. The bed is of a high quality. The bathroom is spacious. Pool view room. I got a great deal from hotels.com

Ok but maintenance is req, and staff approach to guests

stay was excellent. staff was nice. only thing hurts is taxi service. there is a kind of compulsion that we have to hire their vehicle only.. they will make you suffer if you hire some other vehicle. food was not up to mark as other hotels in goa. but overall ok kind.

We rchd early and check in time was 12 noon...hotel was 100% booked. Luckily one room got vacant and the staff managed to arrange the same for us asap...thanks for a memorable and pleasant stay

Overall hotel experience was very good, no complaints , but require more food items which i feel was less and taste was ok .
Room staff need to be more active.

Great location, but room and facilities are rundown and need a good cleaning and repair. "Hotel and Spa" but Spa hasn't been functional in quite some time. Asked hotel staff to recommend another spa and got blank looks. Feral cats live on site and pester guests at the pool during meal times.

Had a great experience , peaceful place, close to beach, hospitality of staff at the resort was great.
