Stop over before Ferry to Europe
Pros:

Excellent location for a stop over the night before a ferry to Holland from Harwich. Very clean and comfortable, breakfast is breakfast with a minimal gluten free option, but it's there which is better than some places. Extremely comfortable bed! After a long drive from Portsmouth I slept like a log. Staff were happy to help...if you forget toothbrush, toothpaste, razor etc they have a supply FOC at reception. Bar area is open until 11pm but coffee machines there are on 24/7.

Cons:

Although an EV charger is advertised the staff shared their frustration that it's been out of order for ages. There is a dedicated smoking area downstairs outside of the restaurant area but guests seem to favour the main entrance for smoking and vaping so I'd recommend not having a room on ground floor as you'll hear and smell them.

Good value for money, great location comfortable accommodation
Pros:

The breakfast was ok. They had a good selection of gluten-free foods.
However, navigating the bar was tricky at times, trying to find things. I spent most of my time telling people to where to find what they were looking for.

Cons:

Check-in was very slow, there seemed to be very few staff available. But Lucie, the duty manager dealt with it beautifully.
