June 24, 2026 stay, as emailed to the manager and Hilton Corporate
First you have an attractive property, and the two folks at the desk when we arrived last night were very nice. Then things turn.
1. Upon arrival, we are told you have no bottled waters, not even for sale. As a long time Hilton Diamond I’ve never arrived at a property without water bottles. We were told that someone did not order enough. There are multiple grocery stores close by, and a Sams Club 15 mins away. Initiative?
2. Turning on tv last night I barely touched the frame to adjust the site line toward my wife’s view, when it shut down and we could not get to restore.
3. I handed to Amber a sharp metal screw that I stepped on in middle of the night in pain. You can see the empty space under the bedside lamp where it belongs.
4. I went down to the breakfast bar this morning, basically, a no breakfast bar, with very little available. A bakery display with nothing. A boiled egg display with no eggs. Absolutely NO orange juice, how can you not have OJ? I guess it was not ordered like the water bottles? Old cold eggs and sausage.
5. I decided to go to McDonalds to bring us breakfast back to life he room.
6. I started to tell Amber about an employee I had a brief encounter with, describing her as a slender woman in a blue Hampton Inn shirt, when she cut me off and said “we don’t have anyone working like that!” Then I added the description “a slender African American woman in a blue HI shirt”, she said “no we don’t have one.”
7. I was trying to tell Amber that the employee was walking around in the breakfast area on her cell phone, on speaker phone, very loud; I find it inappropriate to have speaker phone on in public, plus with an employee even worse? The kicker is that the man she was listening to was using foul language. I don’t wish to write the words I heard. I’m a Pastor and missionary and found it all very offensive. Most anyone would have felt the same. On the other hand, according to Amber, this employee does not exist.
8. When I returned from McDonalds with our breakfast, Amber was in the breakfast room, talking with this non-existent employee.
Very clean rooms. Staff was very pleasant
Only one chair in the huge room. Two adults. So one had to sit on the bed. Bed was extra firm.
The place was so clean and staff so friendly. Breakfast was good, omelets, grits, biscuits, toast, boiled eggs, yogurt, muffins, sausage, cooked potatoes, with coffee available and juice.
Clean, comfortable
The AC wasn’t cooling like it should but I let the staff know when we left bc it wasn’t that bad. Staff were extremely nice.
My favorite thing was how comfortable the bed was! All of the staff members--check-in person, breakfast servers, housekeeper--were very pleasant and accommodating. Room, lobby, breakfast location were very clean and maintained. Breakfast was good. I spent a very restful night after a hard day's drive.
The only complaint I had was that your TV package did not include MSNBC. It had a couple of Fox channels and CNN, but not MSNBC.
Great experience! Previously booked hotel canceled on us day of reservation and we booked this last minute. So glad we did. Clean, comfortable and very friendly staff! Would absolutely stay again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn, 411 Alliance Pky. in Anderson, SC. We were very impressed with our room, which had modern/updated furniture & accomodations, including USB ports, walk in shower, & user-friendly working appliances. The bed was very comfortable, the staff was friendly, and breakfast was great. Additionally, the lobby & dining areas are modern & well maintained. The location which is right off I-85 was also convenient.
