I cannot wait to return! I was made to feel right at home with an outstanding guest relations team. Outstanding service!
Pros:

Extremely good customer service, clean, excellent location on the beach, outstanding food.

Cons:

Construction was a bit loud in the off season, but the hotel guest relations desk upgraded my room to a quieter floor.

Has potential to be excellent, 3* - lovely location
Pros:

Lovely beech front location.
Down stairs in the hotel is lovely and modern.
Staff very helpful and hardworking, The bar and waitress staff in the bar were excellent.
Sandwiches and cakes in the deli were lovely. Nothing else open as it was February.
The cocktails were AMAZING!!

Upstairs corridors and rooms are in desperate need of a refresh, they were changing the carpets in the corridors as we were leaving, which is good but the rooms need some work.
Food in the buffet was just ok, The hot stuff wasn't very hot and it was very repetitive.
No sit out Balconies, which is a shame with the lovely view.
The indoor pool and sauna etc needs a refresh as looking very dated and dirty.

Pros:

It was a wonderful holiday! Our family group consisted of people aged 4 to 80, and everyone was completely satisfied. Although February is not the high season, this was not noticeable at the hotel. All the staff were very attentive and friendly. I would especially like to mention Ali from Guest relations — all questions and requests were dealt with immediately. Ali was very professional, calm and friendly (which greatly influenced our overall impression of the hotel). The food and drinks were very varied and delicious. The animation team was also wonderful (quiz nights and live music were great). The hotel's location is also excellent - a beautiful promenade for long walks. We had rooms with both sea and city views - both are great. I usually like to change my travel destinations and hotels. But this is probably the first time I think I will return to this hotel again.

Cons:

I read a lot of complaints in reviews about the old carpet in the hotel corridors (and it really was so), but here's some fresh information: it is currently being replaced with new carpet.
