Art Hotel Managua Nicaragua

I love Art. My family and I have been staying for over 10 years here. The ladies (Julie and Daisy) have always greeted us with warm smiles, attentive, and make us feel at home. This last time I was a bit disappointed with the service when checking in, I had a late check in with my cousin with a young lady named Belen. She is the opposite of the ladies mentioned before. She is cold, doesn’t smile, hardly says anything when you ask, mind you we have always treated everyone with respect, say please and thank you. I’m not sure if it was a bad day but according to others, I’m not the first who has a complaint about her. Everything else is great, I will continue to stay & hopefully not run into Belen anytime soon!

Belen did a great job. It was quiet, peaceful and the pool felt great.

Still not done with my stay but so far it’s an amazing experience very quiet safe staff is very helpful and nice hopefully it stays that way for the rest of my stay

The staff is very attentive, courteous and warm. The A/C unit worked very efficiently given that Managua could be very hot, you get to sleep very comfortably. Definitely, will be back!!

The housekeepers ladies that worked there they’re very nice very friendly and very kind. They deserve a raise. I noticed they were like that with all guess

They did not had a room ready for me

Every time I come to Nicaragua, I stay at Art. They make you feel welcome and at home. It’s a small cozy hotel. The staff is always very kind and welcoming! I will continue to stay at Art when visiting Nicaragua.

Staff was definitely problem starting with checking in took over a hour very confusing no English at all and my Spanish was limited
I made error on reservation and had at 1 person vs 2 as I had a friend stay a couple nights also
I told them at check in and they never said anything prior. Otherwise I could have changed reservation prior to check in to 2 people. They said they could not change and Expedia could after check as any cancel was not refunded

They tried to charge me for additional person and extra breakfast. I had to prove that rate was same on Expedia for 1 or 2 as what I was charged. They agree no other charge but refused to add second breakfast. Every day they had another issue and the entire experience was fraught with frustration daily

I have stayed at this property every year a couple times to and from Managua from my house in SJDS. This year was so problematic I will never stay again regardless of the fact I like the property area and costs
