Beautiful hotel, good value, great food!
Pros:

We stayed in a standard double for 2 nights B&B and found it was good value for what we got. We travelled down for a friend's wedding. The location was great as we could walk to the town easily, travel a short distance to the wedding, as well as visiting the Michael Collins memorial and Lough Hyne while we were in Cork. The hotel was beautiful, clean and well maintained. Our room was lovely, clean, and the bed was very comfy. The staff were very professional and friendly. We had dinner in the bar when we arrived and the food/service was great. The breakfast both days was honestly our highlight! The food and amount of options was amazing. I didn't get her name but the lady running the breakfast service both days was an absolute credit to the hotel, she was so friendly. We had such a lovely stay and I would happily recommend this hotel.

Pros:

We had such an enjoyable stay at the West Cork Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff especialy Ann at breakfast, were welcoming, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay.

Our room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing few days away. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance of Skibbereen town and a great base for exploring West Cork.

We also really enjoyed the food in the hotel — both dinner and breakfast were lovely, with great service each time.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend the West Cork Hotel to anyone visiting the area. We look forward to returning again.

The hotel is a short distance to The Heritage Centre and the other bars & restaurants of Skibbereen.
Pros:

I stayed over the Easter bank holiday weekend so the price of the room was a little high. The bar & restaurant were both great and the food was top notch.

Cons:

Paying extra for breakfast.

Skibberaean is def worth a visit. West Cork Hotel is in a perfect location.
Pros:

Disappointing.
Pros:

Not much. Luckily got an upgrade to a good size room with a balcony and river view.

Cons:

Breakfast was the main problem. The food covered most of the bases, unless you were from continental Europe and looking for cold meats and cheeses. The staff, however, were straight out of Fawlty Towers. If the bulldyke foghorn with verbal diarrhea doesnt get you, the extra from night of the living dead surely will. Oh, and the pillows were like concrete....and the bar is a horrible, gloomy, soulless space.

Een heel prettig verblijf, mede dankzij het vriendelijke personeel en goede kwaliteit.
Pros:

Bij aankomst heel vriendelijk ontvangen, zonder extra kosten een upgrade van de kamer. Prima bed, mooie grote kamer en goede hygiëne.
