Great location in the centre of Skib. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Not quite a 4 star experience. There were a few things that I thought fell short of expectations. Water was provided in the room on day 1 but not on subsequent three days. Small plastic bottles of shampoo/shower gel are a bit outmoded and wasteful from a sustainability perspective. Room could have been better serviced every day.

A lovely family run hotel in a beautiful part of west cork
Pros:

The breakfast was really lovely and great choices the hotel had a really nice atmosphere and very welcoming would definitely stay again i have to mention the staff who couldn’t be more helpful a huge thanks to them all

Ask for a room with a view over the River Ilen
Pros:

The West Cork Hotel is so well-situated for exploring west cork. The hotel is idylically situated on the river Ilen. The bedrooms are spacious and those looking out towards the river are peaceful.

Cons:

Overall I have little to comment on. The
team are professional and helpful and the hotel is perfect for my needs, as I only stay one night when visiting. It can be a little noisy when hearing doors opening and closing but other than that the hotel ticks all the right boxes.
