Don't bother! Very disappointing considering the price

The bed was very comfortable. Friendly night porter

Cons:

The room was very cold even after asking reception to boost the heat. There is no residents bar. And you can't get a drink (sparkling water etc) after the bar closes. The girl on reception could have been friendlier. Poor coffee and tea in the room. Cobweb on the ceiling above the bed

Cons:

Als wir schlafen gehen wollten, entdeckten wir, dass unsere Betten voller unterschiedlicher Haare sind. Daraufhin sind wir zur Rezeption. Dort haben sie uns ein Zimmerupgrade gegeben, da kein anderes in unserer Preiskategorie frei war. Das war sehr nett. Wir bekamen also ein sehr viel größeres Zimmer. Ja nun, was soll ich sagen? Es waren weniger Haare auf dem Bett als im vorherigen Zimmer. Leider klebte neben der Toilette an der Wand etwas undefinierbares in der Farbe braun. Zum Glück gibt es Desinfektionsmittel.
Am nächsten Tag beim Check-Out war die Rezeptionistin gar nicht begeistert über den Zimmertausch und brachte gerade so ein "Bye" raus.

Bright, modern yet classic and cozy
Pros:

The room was lovely, big and bright. Bed was very comfy, the room and thoughtout the hotel was spotless. I enjoyed dinner and few cocktails at the bar the evening of staying. Both were tasty and good value.

Cons:

The lady who greeted people for breakfast made me feel half bad for having a dairy intolerance, lucky another lady from the kitchen came out and I was able to have the breakfast I wanted, after speaking with me and understanding what dairy intolerance meant.

Best Hotel in Skibbereen
Pros:

From the moment we stepped into West Cork Hotel, we thought that we were in a 4*
Lobby area is bright and plenty of seating.
Our room 105 was bright and very well equipped.
We had dinner in the Bridge Bar and Snug. The large portions were just what was needed after a long drive.
Would stay again "

A great place to stay in West Cork
Pros:

A friendly welcome awaits you when you arrive at the West Cork Hotel. Excellent staff. Cosy rooms. Tasty food. Relaxed atmosphere. I first stayed in 1981 and I'm still staying regularly 45 years later.

GREAT ONE NIGHT STAY
Pros:

I normally write my reviews down straight away on paper but I’m late uploading to Trip Advisor. Only stayed for one night, travelling through. Had a light lunch, nice bar area to sit in. Nice to see the old pictures on walls. Lovely town to wonder up the High Street. Would recommend and go again.
