staff & food 😋
The staff are friendly and very obliging. It's always spotless and relaxing. Breakfast as great. We had an evening meal there with family and it was very nice.
They charged £5 for a side to accompany the main dish, we ordered mushy peas, garden peas and broccoli. £15 for the sides.
Great menu
Fabulous hotel super friendly helpful staff, great food and service. The room was clean and a comfortable bed.
Everything was perfect returning soon
Always a great experience, food is superb, staff are exceptional
Lack of sockets in the room
The old building itself
There is no disabled rooms on the ground floor and only doubles and no twins ,most disabled people are in need of a king size bed or twin room.
It was very difficult the first time I stayed with 20 steps to climb so I changed to a ground floor room which I was assured for my stay on the 13th to be a king size only to find the bed a double not at all comfortable for two people with one being disabled . The lady on the desk was very helpful for my next visit she explained the short route to the first floor and made sure we have a king size bed and I would also like to add no handrails present in the walkin shower that you call a accessible room. I do hope some off these things you will recognise as a necessity for disabled people

Age and facilities
Heavy door on to bedroom and shower size
The room was very comfortable, with a lovely view of the garden area.
The bed was comfortable, we also had a fan, which was ideal due to the hot weather, also lovely toiletries
provided and the towels were changed daily, along with tea and coffee etc.,
The breakfast was cooked or continental. The meals in the restaurant were amazing, with a fabulous menu.
Nothing, everything was beyond perfect.
Happy, friendly staff. Room in very good condition
Good location, friendly staff, nice food
Clean , very welcoming and friendly, lovely food
Maybe USB points in room.
Breakfast and evening meal outside tables and garden
Creaky floor boards in room and shower leak and blocked sink drain room view
Room was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious
I think there could have been more staff at breakfast - a bit of a wait
I cannot fault the staff - First thing that struck me, they were all smiling which tells me, they enjoy working there. I have stayed in hotels were the staff looked like they had had their faces slapped with a wet fish.
My evening meal and breakfast TEN out of TEN.
It's just an observation.
England match was on - would have been fun to have it on downstairs. But I was able to watch in my room.
Condiments; It always makes me smile, when asked if you would like any sauce, you are then presented with a little dish of sauce. Makes you want to dip your finger in, taste it .. and say "Yes !! I will take a bottle"
But there is nothing I did not like.
Lovely building, everything you could need
