Overall it was a great stay and we would stay again. Small areas let the hotel down such as wood peeling off the bath pa
Pros:

Beautiful property. Comfortable beds. Great staff.

Cons:

Slow breakfast service, we waited 30 minutes for tea and coffee and had to ask 3 times. Parts of the bedrooms are becoming run down.

Avoid this place if you want to sleep
Pros:

Really good communal areas; restaurant and bars

Cons:

Noisy from the nightclub, noisy from corridor (the walls are paper thin so you hear people walking down the corridor, open and closing doors, talking). The 24hr bar means this happens all night, slept for less that a couple of hours.
Breakfast organisation was also poor, constantly running out of food, big queues for a buffet breakfast

Pros:

Very clean hotel and a comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and polite.

Cons:

The glass bathroom door did not close properly and there was a very loud humming noise in the room, which kept me awake most of the night!

Pros:

The evening meal food was OK

Cons:

I was staying in the hotel room 101 which was booked by one of my suppliers. Where do I start, I have previously stayed in this property before and had issues with noisy fans in the room roof on the occasion after a lengthy discussion I was moved rooms. On Saturday I entered the room with my family and immediately I could hear the fan noise I went down to reception to complain, the reception although polite was obviously well briefed on the excuses for the noise I asked to speak to the manager who eventually turned up only to start giving the same excuses, upon my continued complete he finally asked if we were leaving the room in the evening, I said yes we were meeting friends for dinner, he agreed that he would have the fan turned of for the duration of our stay. We left our room early for dinner as we couldn't do with the noisy, I went to reception and told the same receptionist we had left the room so someone could turn off the fan. We then went to the bar which we couldn't get near as the hotel was hosting a wedding, we ended up sitting in the reception area, which wasn't idea. Guess what when we went back to the room the same noise. As you can imagine none of us got much sleep. To round the experience off we went for breakfast my daughter asked if they serviced fruit tea, the reply she got was "yes but it will be at an extra charge", nearly £300 for a noisy room and you cannot afford a tea bag!!!

Would not recommend.
Pros:

lovely place

Cons:

Got charged extra for a room with no explanation.
A lady was told to stop serving my grandad multiple times and carried on, which i can only assume is for profit, he has now ended up in the hospital.
My room i had booked was given to the bridesmaids to get ready in (not a problem) I was told it would be cleaned with fresh bedding and towels, this did not happen!

Very disappointing and leaves a bad taste. Will not recommend anyone having a wedding here, multiple people for the same day have had the same issues.

More than happy for someone to contact me!

Average, 3rd or 4th stay there not the best
Cons:

We were in the older part off the hotel in a room with a wedding going on downstairs. We had to walk thru the wedding reception to go to and from the room which wasn’t right. There was only one bath towel in the room booked for 2 people

Just bad all round
Pros:

So positives… the bathroom was fairly clean and it seems to have a good website that fools you into thinking it’s an upmarket place.
Negatives… on a loud main road. Very loud rooms being able to hear everything from the bar area until very late, so very little sleep. Thermostat unresponsive so stifling room but can’t open the window because of extreme traffic noise. Inedible food which took over 90 minutes to arrive. Incompetent, rude staff who didn’t care.
There was one waitress at breakfast who was rushed off her feet with no help from colleagues who stood around talking. Breakfast very limited and ran out at 9am! We were so looking forward to our trip but it was an overpriced huge disappointment. Please don’t waste your money here.

Overpriced for the hotel but overall nice place to stay
Pros:

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Lovely food.

Cons:

Bathroom was worn and had no hand soaps and no shelving to place anything which seemed a little strange. Shower also had no where to place anything. Beds very uncomfortable but they’re sleepable. Drinks were VERY expensive. Rooms also very warm with no air con and opening window meant little sleep due to a very loud road.
