Excellent service from start to finish friendly efficient staff room was very spacious and comfortable breakfast was very good we would definitely recommend and will be making a return
Nothing
Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Lovely food.
Bathroom was worn and had no hand soaps and no shelving to place anything which seemed a little strange. Shower also had no where to place anything. Beds very uncomfortable but they’re sleepable. Drinks were VERY expensive. Rooms also very warm with no air con and opening window meant little sleep due to a very loud road.
On arrival the place looked stunning, we booked a table but was not ready (wasn't busy and plenty of free tables)
When seated a lady asked if we wanted water replied yes it took 10 mins to get water after a little reminder when she came to ask for our drinks and food order, 20 mins later the food arrived on the robot as this was the only second visit we was unsure if we needed to help ourselves? No floor staff around until a chap ran over to serve us i did mention it had been there a while, he asked if we needed any sauce ect I asked for vinegar which again took a while, then he fetched mayonnaise?? No vinegar after a while he came to ask if everything was OK I mentioned our drinks had not arrived and vinegar ( we had eaten some of the warm food so didn't really need the vinegar so I explained we was ok without it and could we have our drinks ? By the time our drinks had arrived we had finished our food, We did have a dessert which was lovely (recommend mint cheesecake 😋)
On payment i was asked if everything was OK I did say no but was just ignored i would usually accept a tip but I did decline because the service was not very good and meal was not hot.
Will I return? Possibly just to see if our experience is better.
Breakfast was fantastic nice big rooms. Was there for daughters wedding may need better chairs a bit wobbly. Rest of grounds was lovely.
Nothing
Stuck in the old part of the property
Was there for a wedding, the venue was beautiful, plenty of different outdoor spaces, it all flowed lovely
Our room was in a separate annex to the rest of the wedding party
Outstanding service from the team at Wildes Inn - could not have done more for us, we were a big event and it was the best food from our whole week on the road. We even gave the chef a round of applause for the incredible food.
Great food staff very good our server was Michal he was very good
Cleanliness,friendly staff and service
Another comfy chair in room
Lovely lunch once again being treated for Mother’s Day.
A warm welcome , lovely food and service. Max and Amy were very attentive, friendly and exceptional as usual.
If your planning on getting married this is the place, affordable luxury. Charlotte and the team did not disappoint and did a tremendous job. Food was incredible and all the staff who partaken on the day we're so helpful and polite. Many of my guests have got back to me and said how beautiful the venue is and how accommodating the staff are. Highly recommend.
Thank you again 💓
Lovely food and great service as always
Great customer service and lovely food.
Have been looking for a hotel in the area with Great food and service and this ticks all boxes.
We booked and stayed over to attend an evening wedding reception and were very looking forward to exceptional attention to detail in the £151 per night room.
Sadly we got no wow factor. No fridge . Minimal. Only 30ml shower gel, shampoo conditioner (not enough for 2 adults when i have long hair) oh and small bar of soap,
We had a cooked breakfast the following morning included in the price, sadly again very disappointing as we did not have breakfast size plates just side plate size. I asked the waitress to change the cold plates left for our breakfast for a warm plate she just said we dont have plate warmers! Any one knows you dont put hot food on a cold plate . Another note take heed £50 extra on check in to cover any damages to your room refundable in a few days..The hotel will charge you if you take in your own alcohol to drink in your room and leave the bottles so take your empys home
