Hotel Moeesy, Blue & Green Oasis - Adults Only

This was the perfect location for us to explore the island. Everything we needed was in walking distance; the service at the hotel was outstanding and the breakfast each morning was so fresh and delicious. They have a great hotel gym
and a pool with some lovely views. We would definitely go back without hesitation.

Yes, a little more on the pricey side, but this hotel is the epitome of 5 stars. Use your Chase points, save a little more, whatever you have to do to add this hotel to your trip.

From the exquisite property, to the incredible & personal customer service, Hotel Moeesy is located about a 7 minute walk to Hvar's old town where all the nightlife and restaurants are. The breakfast is superb, a personal chef at the buffet that can make you anything from a fluffy omelette to sunny side up eggs along with an array of choices, meats, cheeses, croissants, smoothies, (bacon for the Americans) the whole nine yards. A 24.7 espresso/coffee station is always available for your caffeine needs. The rooms are modern and clean as ever. We even had a sunroof in our room that ranges from pitch black, to beautiful sunny rays shining through. The POOL was perfect with sunbeds and an amazing delicious POOL BAR Menu, I mean everything on that menu was DELICIOUS not to mention the cocktails.

But the catch, the real catch you want to stay here is the ATTENTION TO DETAIL AND CARE. Every single person who works here always has a smile ready for you, and makes sure you have everything you need. KRISTINA and MIA at the front desk had all the answers to any questions we had regarding tours or just questions in general. The chefs, the waitresses, the luggage carrier, the pool bartenders, the maid service, I mean everyone was just incredible.

One last wild fact, we found out this is the last 5 star hotel that is privately family owned on the island of Hvar. Now that doesn't need to be on your checklist at all but by all means, it means a lot to others. HOTEL MOEESY, we WILL be back. Thank you for adding a little bit of compassion, intimacy, and comfort to an amazing trip to Croatia.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Moeesy. What truly made the experience special was the incredible staff, who were warm, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help throughout our visit.

A special thank you to Kristina, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She helped us plan an amazing boat day, provided fantastic restaurant recommendations, and was always available with helpful local advice. Her friendliness and attention to detail made a huge difference to our trip.

The hotel’s amenities are excellent, and everything is maintained to a very high standard. The location is also ideal, close enough to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere while being only about 15 minutes from the main town.

From start to finish, everyone we encountered was kind, professional, and friendly. We would highly recommend Hotel Moeesy and look forward to returning in the future.

I travel extensively and The Moeesy service was top notch. The staff make the Hotel but it a top level Hotel with service that is the best!

Overall, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The staff was exceptional, especially Kristina, the hotel's concierge. I visited Hotel Moeesy with 6 girlfriends and it was INCREDIBLE. The location along the beach, the friendly staff, the cleanliness, and the meals were top-notch. We were all continually impressed how much everyone went out of their way to make our experience special. I highly recommend, and would love to come back someday.

This hotel offers the highest standard of service in a beautiful setting within easy walking distance of Hvar town but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. The grounds are gorgeous and the view stunning.
As a fitness enthusiast I appreciated the very well equipped gym.
We were treated like royalty. I’ve rarely felt so well looked after in a hotel. From the cleaning staff, to the porters, to the wait staff and concierge, everyone was friendly, personable, helpful and warm. We were celebrating an anniversary and they went out of their way to spoil us.

From the minute we got off the ferry in Hvar the first class service started! We were greeted & our bags taken to the hotel. The hotel was beautiful & the service impeccable! There was an incident with a very rude guest & the manager Stan handled it calmly & effectively. I highly recommend this hotel & if in Hvar again will return!

Absolutely awesome hotel. The staff went overboard in meeting all of our needs. Perfect location -walkable to every destination. The manager- Stan was amazing as well. The views were spectacular, the included breakfast was delicious and this hotel was the only hotel that had a heated pool in our multi-destination Croatian vacation. The only negative was a guest on the 1st floor who complained about noise as I was talking with Stan- the manager in the lobby. (I don’t even think it was 10:00 pm.)
This was my favorite hotel, island, & experience. I would highly recommend it!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Moeesy Hotel in May 2026 and truly enjoyed a splendid time with our family in beautiful Hvar.
The hotel is absolutely beautiful — elegant, serene, and perfectly designed to create a luxurious yet relaxing atmosphere. Every detail of the property reflects quality and sophistication, making it the perfect place to enjoy everything Hvar has to offer.

- Even when there were some construction works that prevented access to the hotel by car, they arranged an easy-to-find meetup and handled the car parking for us. Great service!
