Perfect location for people who want to visit Cologne without dealing with the traffic.
Pros:

Almost completely self-service, including check-in/check-out. The lobby had snacks, drinks, coffee, alcohol available for purchase. And the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very courteous, and spoke English well! Facilities are basic but have everything you need sans laundry. Underground (paid) parking was a nice touch considering you can walk or take a train anywhere. We liked that it was off the beaten path and in a quiet neighborhood. 10-15 minute walk to the train station to boot.

Cons:

Although we didn’t have any issues personally, the self service aspect can be confusing or troublesome if you come after hours. I would just plan in advance to arrive during “regular lobby hours”.

Selbst Check-In nach 18 Uhr problemlos.
Kostenlos Parkplatz direkt an der Straße gefunden.
Großes Zimmer, 1 Flasche Wasser, bequeme Betten.
Gutes Frühstück.

Cons:

19 EUR Parkgebühr überteuert.
Bettwäsche mit Löchern.
Zimmer veraltet, bzw. chaotisch mit alten Dekos, Lampen und hier und da etwas neues, also insgesamt geschmacklos.
Bad mit Stoff-Vorhang ist wirklich utopisch heutzutage.
Fenster dreckig.
Becher noch mit Zahnpastaresten ....
Also insgesamt etwas unzufrieden, weil man für 113 EUR die Nacht etwas mehr Exklusivität und Komfort erwartet.

Automaten Check in etwas verwirrend erst, aber dann gut. Zimmer gut, Lage gut, Frühstück extrem gut mit tollem Sojamilch Latte machiato.

Cons:

Einfahrt in Garage etwas verwirrend, man muss oben Ticket ziehen, Ticketdinger stehen etwas ungünstig.

Pros:

Gute Lage. Unser Zimmer war ruhig gelegen. Schnelle Antwort auf Mail Anfragen. (Ist ja kein Personal da, welches man fragen kann.)

Cons:

Es gibt halt Stellen im Bad wo die Reinigung mal genauer hinschauen sollte und diese Ecken und Stellen einfach nur putzen. Check In ohne Personal nur an einem Automaten ist schon gewöhnungsbedürftig. (Die Rezeption war bei unserer Anreise nicht besetzt.)
