Lovely hotel but they really should address the window problem in room 105
Pros:

Excellent location lovely food pleasant staff large room

Cons:

Unfortunately we couldn’t open any windows in our room 105 they were paint sealed shut we asked reception to check the first day and were told someone would look at it. No one came and we spent two extremely hot nights with not much sleep. We did have a fan but it didn’t rotate and wasn’t much help in the hot room.

Good Location
Pros:

Excellent location, peaceful atmosphere, room good and good value, no noise, a mile walk along a beautiful sea front to the rather, sadly, shabby town. Just enjoy the interesting harbour and clean safe beach.

First class hotel
Pros:

Wonderful hotel. It was good to find a hotel that had single rooms and charged a single price. The food is excellent with a comprehensive choice at breakfast which can be ordered the night before. We also tried the lunchtime bar snacks and the full evening menu which were outstanding. The staff are excellent, especially the restaurant and bar staff who are knowledgeable about the food and drink. They were always smiling. The hotel overlooks the beach and you can step out of the back door and be straight on the south promenade.

Cons:

Only staying one night!!

Weekend visit to Norfolk and Suffolk
Pros:

Great location, a nice stroll to train and bus station through the town . The great staff help for a relaxed but professional atmosphere. Rooms decorated to a good standard and beds comfortable. Superb value and breakfast excellent.

Could have been a solid 9+ if not for the food thing.
Pros:

Comfy bed, nice looking room, lovely big shower. Nice, tidy looking place internally. Breakfast was decent. Great views of the sea from the dining room. A very reasonably priced nice hotel not far from a nice garden with pond and along the sea front. Parking good on site.

Cons:

Bar and restaurant were either not available or had a limited menu (Fathers' day set menu but I was travelling alone as a female) for the nights I stayed. Their normal menu looked fab, so this was disappointing and really the only let down...but eating where you are staying of an evening is part of the experience. Sitting area for guests was not really advertised/used and there was not comfortable space-furniture to relax in, away from bar / restaurant area.
