We had a great stay. The staff were so friendly and our room was very well appointed. I especially appreciated the larger US king size bed vs. a UK king, and that the hotel provided wash clothes which in our experience are not commonly provided in Scotland. The location is about a 10 min walk down to all of the hustle of the city center, which was fine by us as our room was super quiet. Breakfast was also great.

Beautiful hotel with large rooms and huge bathrooms. Excellent bar with free happy hour wine in the afternoons. Outstanding service.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel. It is beautiful inside and out and the gardens are charming! The location is fantastic, so close to the city centre but is in a quiet area. The room was luxurious and very comfortable and clean. The service was great, food and drinks excellent and everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was definitely value for money and if I ever stay in Glasgow again it is the only hotel I would consider.
I had the pleasure of experiencing a wonderful detox body wrap treatment today at this fabulous Spa.
The decor in the hotel itself is lovely and the Spa area is very tastefully furnished. Every staff member had a smile and were professional.
My 55 minute treatment was exceptional.
Following my treatment, I sampled the Spa menu, having a lovely baguette.
I found the whole experience first class and I will certainly return.
The customer service is excellent, from the bell men, the valet, the front desk and the restaurant. All were so friendly, helpful and very focused on customer service and that we had everything we needed and provided helpful information. Also a great location easy to walk to great restaurants. And our hotel room was very nice and comfortable. Also enjoyed the breakfast each monring, and the parlor on the second floor for a cocktail. They have a 4-5 free wine happy hour each day which was also great! Highly recommend this hotel!
A very late and overdue review, which I’m very sorry about considering the incredible and thoughtful experience that the Blythswood provided for me and my partner. My partner was going home to NZ for 4 weeks for Xmas, therefore this was our Xmas eve and day. John and the concierge team done absolutely everything in their power to make this special for us, Xmas decorations, gifts and a tree in our room. Nothing was too much. This is an incredible special hotel, a home from home - attention to detail is exceptional and thoughtful. I honestly can’t thank everyone enough, we were so grateful and actually quite emotional that such effort was applied to our stay. Thank you so much.

Arrived for a special birthday, room wasn’t ready and we had booked spa time for basically 10mins after check in, cleaning was still in progress apparently. 20mims later got access to the room and they moved our spa spot forward so we didn’t miss out on our time. The room itself
Was nice and had a lovely view overlooking the square, however cleaning wasn’t great, drinks rings along the bath ledge and rubbish in bin. Our spa slot which you have to pay for over and above the cost of your stay was so disappointing, steam room wasn’t working which I feel we should have been informed of upon entering and given some kind of gesture as an apology considering the cost of the use, it just went downhill from there on, the rust situation on the mouldings and taps look terrible, it doesn’t feel like a 5 star treat that it should be. Bathrooms were just as bad, rust everywhere, dirty towels lying around and it just didn’t give a bang for the buck. Evening meal was lovely no complaints at all and we used our little voucher for a free drink for our room not being ready. The following morning, I discovered the coffee machine wasn’t working and so ordered 2 coffees, they both arrived Luke warm at best. Really disappointed in our stay and unfortunately won’t go back. It needs some tlc if it wants to advertise as 5 star.

The Spa . High quality restaurant food
Despite having the most equiped Spa facilities, unfortunately there was a restriction on time accessing such great facilities for hotel guests . For example , we could only use the spa between 5-8 pm in the evening. It significantly limited my access to the facilities .
