Crimson Resort and Spa Mactan

We checked-in on april 7 and check-out on April 10, 2026. My little family stayed in Deluxe room in 109. The room was in great location as it was close to the beach and the hotel amenities. We’ve had a lovely stay and the staff are kind and assisted us well with our needs. The kids love the crimzone playground and pool. The kids’ activities and staff facilitators were great with our kids. They are experienced in looking after and engaging with kids of diverse and different ages. The breakfast buffet at Saffron was the best thing we look forward to every morning. My mum had her birthday cake celebration at Saffron. Tje food was delicious. Azure beach club also had such a beautiful and relaxing vibe. They assisted us with our lunches/dinners well with extra consideration for our little ones. The concierge supervisor (Mr. Rigel) also went above and beyond ensuring we had the best and relaxing stay with everything easy access and we’ve had smooth hotel check in and out with our luggages. Thank you so much!

I had an amazing stay at Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan! From the moment we arrived, the staff were so warm and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The resort itself is beautiful — lush gardens, spacious pools, and a private beach that’s perfect for relaxing. Our room was clean, comfortable, and stylish, with a great view of the ocean. I also loved the dining options; breakfast was delicious, and dinner by the beach felt so special. The spa was a real treat too. The only thing to note is that it’s a bit far from the main city, but honestly, the peaceful atmosphere makes it worth it. Overall, it’s a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a luxury getaway in Cebu!

Your staff are very helpful and nice. However your room was not clean especially the shower. I did really enjoy the breakfast at Saffron in the past two days until this morning a long curly hair was found in the pancit. We reported to your staff - no follow up action or reply. We were at table 40D.

Snorkelling and kayaking. In particular we enjoyed our meals at azure each day and our experience at AKA Japanese restaurant. We enjoyed relaxing by the infinity pool. I’d like to give a shout out to the guys by the pool Aurelio, JR and Jesrel who were super friendly and helpful every day, always happy to see us and really made us feel so welcome at the resort. Wonderful hotel, great rooms and a well-maintained park-like area. I especially liked the care, hospitality and smiles of the staff. The food deserves special praise - fresh, delicious, very diverse for any taste. I recommend Crimson Mactan to everyone.

The hospitality and quality service greets you as you enter the resort. Every interaction I had with staff was positive and helpful. I really enjoyed the Cebueno iced tea they gave us when we were checking in.

My family an extended family stayed in the garden rooms. It was nice that we were able to stay close together. The rooms were very clean and large. They offer golf carts that take you to and from the main drive with your bags.

The amenities at the resort were 10/10. The two main pools were large and overlooked the beach. There is a kid’s pool as well that the kids had fun in. They had an aqua fit instructor in the afternoon- we had a great time doing all the move together!

I only got to stay for a day, but next time I come I plan on staying for a few so that I can thoroughly enjoy all the resort has to offer :)

We had such a wonderful short holiday at Crimson Resort & Spa Mactan. Everything about our stay was perfect the service was excellent, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

The amenities were fantastic and very kid-friendly, making it even more enjoyable for the whole family. Our room was spacious, cozy, and incredibly comfortable just what you’d want for a relaxing escape.

We’re already looking forward to coming back and staying a little longer next time.

We highly recommend Rey and his team (Pits, Francis, Simple and Nelson) for island hopping as they made it very memorable with extreme professionalism.

Amazing in so many words I loved it here absolutely perfect

The staff were very friendly. The pools were all exceptional and the place never felt busy despite having alot of guests. The beach was crystal clear with lots of fish for the kids to see. The Azure restaurant had many good options and all were amazing. Thank you to Mica and Marvie from the saffron restaurant and to Vandy at Crimzone.

It was a truly wonderful experience! I loved all the amenities and the food, and the room was incredibly spacious with an authentic and relaxing atmosphere.

I would like to especially commend Kenneth and Nic from Azure for being very attentive and accommodating..they truly went the extra mile to make our stay memorable. I’d also like to recognize Yanie and Aurelio from the Lifeguard team for their kindness and friendly, approachable service.

Kudos to the entire team at Crimson! This has been our best stay so far. More power and we look forward to coming back!

What an amazing Hotel, probably one of the best we've experienced around the world. Location, room, atmosphere, food and especially staff were awesome Aurelio, Ella, JR, Gene and Mitch especially really went above and beyond every day, making us feel like family. Thanks you so much.

We stayed in a pool villa for 4 days, and our expectations were far exceeded! Our experience from start to finish could not be faulted.
There is a more personal experience for villa guests; however, the elevated details make your stay really special and are very well thought-through, such as a dedicated villa host, seamless in-villa check-in/out and afternoon cocktails.

If you book direct, you can avail a complimentary round-trip transfer from the airport.
The villa itself was spotless and well-appointed. Of course, we loved the private plunge pool and didn’t feel the need to use the main pool.
The only thing we missed was the spa! The staff's hospitality was wonderful.
Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming and attentive.

A special mention to Jake, Leo and Clive who took care of us at Saffron Cafe!

Breakfast options were abundant, with good Asian and Western options.
There was also an à la carte menu for villa guests.
We had dinner at the Japanese restaurant AKA, and I have to say the food and service were exceptional! Some of the best Japanese food I’ve ever had!
The resort is wonderfully maintained with lush greenery and landscaping. It was not too busy when we stayed, which I imagine could contribute significantly to your overall experience and the facilities.

Something guests may find challenging is that the resort is a bit remote, and although there is a shuttle to take you into town, there isn’t anything in the immediate area. You would need to call a Grab/taxi to go somewhere, as the area is not walkable.

We stayed 2 nights here at the end of our Philippines trip before flying home to the UK from Cebu airport which is a 20 min drive - although it was 45 minutes for us flying home as there was a festival on so be aware of the traffic impacts!
The hotel is better in real life than it looks on line, the majority of the rooms are set up in single storey bungalows with gardens and the overall ambience of the site is great. It's not a top end 5* hotel, but it has a much more friendly vibe than a lot of hotels in this tier and we much preferred that. The Azure Beach Club is particularly good, really relaxed vibe, great cocktails and great food. We had intended to eat in the other restaurants but we liked it so much we ate every meal there; it feels more like an independent beach bar than a big hotel bar.
All of the staff are vrey friendly and have a high standard of training - especially those in the Azure Beach Club; it's a professional service.
One thing to watch our for, every Saturday and Sunday from mid afternoon there is a foam party in the main pool!!! It's a lot of fun but it's VERY unexpected and also pretty loud, a little bit like you've been transported to another hotel entirely!! It definitely wont be to everyone's tastes; but many people will love it (and they do, they come here just for that!).

We had booked a stay at this hotel, which presents itself as a “5-star” property. Unfortunately, we were unable to travel due to a serious accident.

We contacted the hotel, and they confirmed that our reservation would be cancelled and that we would receive a full refund of the amount paid. Following their instructions, we sent all the required supporting documents on February 11 as proof.

However, since that date we have still not received any refund. Even worse, the hotel has completely stopped responding. Despite several follow-up emails, we have received no reply at all.

This is extremely disappointing behavior for a hotel of this supposed standard. The lack of customer service and communication is unacceptable.

Very disappointing experience — zero customer service.
