Amazing location, friendly staff, comfortable room, lovely breakfast. We loved it and I can only recommend it for anyone who wants to visit Windsor.
It wasn’t clear that parking is not included. It might have been there and I just missed the info about it during the booking process but it definitely wasn’t highlighted and I only found out about it from an email after I’ve paid and completed the booking. Fortunately, I’ve found secure parking only 5 minutes walk away from the hotel for less than half price of what the hotel asked so I deemed it as a minor inconvenience. But I’d raise that the price they ask for parking is unreasonably high, and feels a bit like an attempt to take advantage of the guests. This is only my opinion and it doesn’t change the fact that the rest of the experience was great and we really enjoyed our stay.

Nothing I could say that I didn’t like
Checked in April 8 for 3 nights, price $1100+ for the 3 nights. One picture is one of the two dead bugs found on the mattress when housekeeping came to properly make the bed as the mattress pad was not attached at the head of the mattress, it was lumped up in the middle of the bed. The mattress pad was filthy so I requested a new one and new sheets. That was done. The other picture is the edge of the pillow that was sticking out of the pillow case, note all of the hair, not mine.
Late last night I decided I could not stay there so talked with front desk. They said that I could check out but my money for the 2 remaining nights would not be refunded.
Macdonald Windsor Hotel owes me money!
Location was good, entrance and breakfast area was good
Hygiene in bedroom was very bad, torn linen, vents not cleaned, caked in dust and dirt. Pillows were stained with body fluid. Gas pipe sticking out of floor which is capped off. Hotel will not allow you a refund upon inspection of room OR offer to move room. Policy for them is money and guests are secondary.
Location , bed was comfortable , staff are nice and helpful, nice breakfast.
The menu being changed after we booked online from steakhouse to tapas. That said the food was nice . Torn pillow case , and dirty taps and shower floor.

We have just returned from a truly exceptional 2 night stay at the Macdonald Hotel Windsor, travelling as a couple with our little boy and our dog, and the entire experience exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel genuinely welcomed and so well looked after. The hotel itself is elegant, beautifully presented, and perfectly located, but what truly makes it stand out is the outstanding level of service throughout.
A very special and heartfelt mention must go to Matthew and Dean, who were absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Their professionalism, warmth, attentiveness, and genuine care were second to none. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail of our stay was perfect, and their hospitality made our visit feel incredibly special. They are an absolute credit to the hotel.
We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to all of the wonderful staff, from reception, to the bar team, to the kitchen staff. Every single member of the team delivered first class service with kindness, efficiency, and a genuine desire to make our stay memorable.
Travelling with a young child and a dog can often require that extra level of care and flexibility, and the team handled everything so effortlessly that we were able to completely relax and enjoy our time together as a family.
This was more than just a hotel stay, it was a truly luxurious and memorable experience from beginning to end. We left feeling refreshed, looked after, and already looking forward to returning.

Location is great for me and boyfriend, Gail’s for coffee in the morning and we normally go the Ivy for dinner but are a range of other restaurants
