Great location, room nice enough, could be better- paying for location
Pros:

Very central location

Cons:

Staff were nice but not hugely well informed - getting a taxi from there is a nightmare. Restaurant menu is pretty restricted.

Paid for a deluxe room, which was no different to our friend’s standard room, our’s was smaller.

Nice hotel minus the breakfast !
Pros:

Welcoming at frontdesk, very nice greeting and excellent service. Room was extremely nice !

Cons:

Breakfast was quite disapointing, very and truly lack of choice to plate your dish from extremely limited buffet.
The bread toaster caught on fire and the breakfast area was smokey afterwards.
I would never choose breakfast option again but rooms are nice... just have breakfast elsewhere.
This breakfast is at best fitting 2 star hotel... I went 2 mornings and skipped 3rd morning, my wife went once and skipped 2 mornings. To sum it up... 2 star breakfast in a 4 star hotel.

I stayed at Macdonald Windsor for the first time and absolutely loved it. The location is perfect — right in the centre,
Pros:

great location, a comfortable room with a lovely balcony, a sweet welcome treat and Elemis toiletries, and a good breakfast.

Cons:

I wasn't keen on the dinner, to be honest. Perhaps the menu could be looked at again

Very enjoyable stay in an historic town with many good restaurants and coffee shops nearby.
Pros:

Location is excellent. The room was lovely and well equipped and nicely furnished. Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and helpful.
