Great base for a short stay. Happy to recommend. 😁
Pros:

Great location for exploring the sights in Exeter and surrounds. Helpful staff and good breakfast choice. Great to have parking.

Cons:

We stayed in the heatwave when it was 35c which was obviously exceptional.😅 Room did have a fan but was still like an oven.

Apart from the heat, the stay was enjoyable.

It was very hot weather. Even with a fan it was uncomfortable. Should perhaps look into ways of dealing with heatwaves.

The staff were wonderful, the room facilities were good. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was ok.

Cons:

Rooms were smaller than expected. I know we went in the middle of a heatwave but the rooms were like an oven. We had the fan on all night plus the window open and it was still boiling

Pros:

I booked on behalf of a third party. On arrival they were asked for photo ID, which they did not have. They were refused entry! I stated I would provide my ID, but this wasn't accepted. The manager stated it was in their terms & conditions, which must be hidden away as I did not see this when I booked and paid in full. The manager was utterly rude and put the phone down on me, The Customer!!
