Great location but....
Pros:

I loved the location, super close to the beach and to many good restaurants.. Also the room was clean and confortable and the breakfast served had a good variety of breakfast items.

Cons:

One of the things I did not liked was the fact that there was not enough parking spaces at night once everyone was back at the hotel. We ended up having to park on the opposite side of the hotel. Also the last day we were there, we went down to get some breakfast around 8:45-8:50 and the main breakfast items like scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon were out and according to the attendant, that was it for the day and they weren't putting anymore out, mind you they stop serving breakfast at 9:30am. Also around that same time the pancake machine broke and none of the attendants knew how to fix it so alot of other people including myself weren't really able to have a good breakast since all that was left were cinnamon rolls, bagels and cereal.

The staff and .manager at Holiday Inn was exceptional. Everyone of the staff there were nice. Can't say that for booking .com.

Facility looked great, AC was cold.

Cons:

Pillows were uncomfortable and blanket was to think and only 1. Asked for a thinner blanket that helped, and bathroom doesn't have a vent.

Shower had great water pressure, close to Rockport beach, great breakfast

Cons:

Beds were very uncomfortable you can tell they have been used alot. Pillows are okay. Ice machine on 2nd floor never works
