Clean overall and nice location
The rooms were oddly setup. The bathtub was right beside the bed with no segregation. It was as if the bedroom and bathroom were one big room overall

The pool area and closeness to the beach. The beach restaurant called Palmarés. The silent disco. The pastel de nata class.
The fact that the bathroom is open plan to the room, how expensive the buffet is if you’re not on an all-inclusive package (€47 each without alcohol!), the quality of the cocktails served (very little alcohol), the fact that the only area in the hotel that has air con are the rooms, the TVs were like something from the 80s (no WiFi, Netflix etc). No kettle in the room - you have to walk to the end of your corridor to use a water dispenser. The hotel in general is in desperate need of a facelift. It definitely cannot be categorised as a five star hotel (dated carpets, lobby cushions etc). I would say it is closer to a three-star. Apparently to get access to the spa area you have to pay €25/hour. This in normal 5 star hotels would be free. The quality of the food at the pool bar was shockingly bad and expensive. The waiters were not attentive. In the evenings, the lobby bar only had mixed nuts to offer along with the drinks. Finally, the staff uniforms looked cheap.

We loved the swimming pools and the beach in front of the hotel. The staff was really nice and made an effort to make our stay pleasant. The food was VERY good, especially the portuguese dishes and the desserts! Aqua gym class was fun!
The bathroom could be better, I don’t understand why can’t we keep the doors in hotel bathrooms! the bath tube was in the middle of the room and the shower shared a door with the toilet (so only one can be closed at a time). For family trips, I would have preferred a proper bathroom with doors. There could be also more activities for children, there were few options at odd times.

We stayed for six nights and had a very relaxing stay overall. The pool area was a real highlight, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds available throughout the day. We only had breakfast included, but there was a good selection of options and we enjoyed it each morning. Getting into Lagos was easy, with Uber rides being both convenient and cheap.
Overall, we enjoyed the pool, the spacious room, and the convenient location, but the overall experience didn't justify the price for us.
The hotel didn't feel like a five-star property to us given the price point, and we wouldn't choose to stay here again. The reception staff could have been more welcoming and proactive. The layout of the hotel, along with the multiple underground parking areas, was quite confusing on arrival, and it would have been helpful if this had been explained at check-in.
The room was very spacious, but could benefit from a few improvements. The shared door between the toilet and shower areas didn't close properly, and the lighting in both spaces was quite poor. The TVs would benefit from being upgraded to include smart apps, and the carpet could do with a thorough clean.

Quelques limites au niveau du ménage : produits douches vides non remis, manque de papier toilette, poussière apparente non faite sous le lit. Les meubles sont un peu abîmés, pour un 5 étoiles on s’attend à un lieu parfait !

Best thing about the hotel was location. Food was awful not that of a 5 star, drinks was awful “banana cocktails” we had a junior suite and it was just like a premier inn.
