An Exceptional Experience
Pros:

Traveling cross country twice a year with our dogs, we stay at many hotels like this brand—dog friendly, secure, drive up parking, kitchenettes, breakfast buffet. This may be the best of the bunch. Every member of the staff we encountered, from the front desk to the kitchen staff, was friendly, helpful and going above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. They seemed genuinely happy we were there. From the parking lot to the public areas to the elevators, hallways and rooms, everything was exquisitely clean, downright sparking. And the breakfast! Besides the standard fare offered across the brand, there were house made carnitas accented with a buffet of salsas and both flour and corn tortillas.

Not only do they accept dogs—they love them. We were greeted with a goodie bag, complete with water, cookies, area information and the option for either dog or cat treats. And everyone wanted to visit with our pups.

Bravo to the Homewood Suites, Slidell team. Thank you for your good care. We will be back.

Pros:

The breakfast exceeded our expectations but the only downside was our room was right above the lobby and the TV was loud. Going to bed it was hard to sleep because all you could hear was the TV downstairs.

Great Hotel, Friendly, Accommodating, Clean, Quiet, all the things you want in your hotel stay. The property looks nice, the rooms were comfortable and clean. We had to stay an extra day, no problem. We told them about a maintenance issue, they took care of it. Obviously, Management and staff that take pride in their business.

I would go back but only if the housekeeping gets better thanks

The bed was made wrong and no housekeeping to clean the room after being there 4 days and a wake-up they came 1 time to give towels and fix the bed after letting the front desk know and she told the house keeping supervision in front of us she let us like whatever and till didn’t send anyone till 4pm 3 days later after complaining at 8am so everyone else was great but housekeeping supervisor and need more staff

Very Happy With Rooms
Pros:

Love these hotels! They have great beds, really like the layout of the room with couch.
You have a kitchen if needed. The shower is really nice AND they have great body lotion
