Paid for a room with a view and it was OK a view of the City landscape. Room was a bit basic but had everything you need for a night away. Shower was fantastic , TV good , Hairdryer was hidden down the side of the table . Asked for extra pillows and they were quickly provided by the housekeeping team who were still on the 4th Floor . Bed was comfortable and the room had air conditioning that worked. Fancy Pod Coffee machine in room as well as a Kettle and Tea and Coffee Did not have breakfast as there is a chain style pub across the road and was half the price of the hotel . Parking is public car park below the hotel and was £13 for 12 or so hours. You can get to the hotel from the car park in the lift , Car park is Floor -2 and reception is 0 Saves you walking all the way round. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
Would have been good to have discounted parking for hotel guests.

Curtains hanging off and squint lamp shade on standing lamp in room. Damage had clearly not been fixed. Staff very stand offish.
Staff not friendly
The staff were all very pleasant and accommodating. The rooms were of a good size and clean. I ordered breakfast in the morning and it was good, with a good array of pre-maincourse options.
The hotel is not really exceptional, but it is good value for money. The standards are higher than your average Travel Lodge and the prices are correspondingly, a little higher. I didn't mind that...
