Stayed at this hotel inside the core area of Zhangjiajie. Like other Pullman, such as in Beijing, bathroom with big open glass view and can see through between the bedroom and bathroom. It is a big site with various buildings. The restaurant for daily breakfast is huge and offers both chinese and western food. There were dim sum dishes there but more Northern style. On the days of stay. The ceiling of the coffee shop close to the main entrance contained chinese writings. The main entrance floor mainly use brown and white colours. When a tour group arrived, the back screen will show welcome message with tour company logo on it so that the tourists felt welcomed.

Travel to Avatar mountains.
Enjoyed hotel and specially travel agent Mr Zhu, who made our stay really memorable and challenging. Very good professional. In the hotel we enjoyed room , foot massage. Good location. Breakfast is ok, could be better.

The hotel staff Ivan is fantastic as all other staff. I am happy with this hotel, the staff very professional, speak & understood English make it easy to converse.

I could plan the sights for Changsha, Fenghuang & Furong Town but planning for Zhangjiajie was a huge challenge, somewhat confusing, no matter how many YouTube videos you watch on the sights, the tickets to buy etc. for a FIT.

Guests at Pullman are very fortunate to have Mr Zhu from the tour desk who gave us a clear overview of ZJJ and of how we should spend our days. Mr Zhu identified the important sights to visit and in which order to visit them. You will need minimally 4-5 days at this beautiful part of China. He also booked entrance tickets & show tickets for us, saving us queuing time. He recommended sights based on our fitness and we were seniors > 65yrs old.

When we had difficulty getting a Didi ride back from the Fairy Fox show to the hotel, we just gave him a call and he was able to arrange a last minute ride back from the Fairy Fox show .

We are much appreciated to Mr Zhu for his enthusiasm in providing the best service to us and all guests staying at the Pullman Zhangjiajie.

For a 5-star hotel with an International brand located in a global tourist destination, it was shocking that there was only 1 hotel employee in the entire establishment who can speak English. Not even the front desk, Concierge or employees at the bar were able to speak English. It was such a hard time communicating with people at this hotel. I understand that there is a language barrier visiting China but I honestly thought choosing a 5 star hotel that markets itself as an international brand would help bridge that gap. I was mistaken. Anyway, the hotel room is plagued with bugs. The breakfast area is always chaotic with too many people everytime. Food is okay but repetitive everyday. The only good thing about this hotel is its location as it is just nearby the east gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

A fantastic place to visit and see the natural beauty of the mountains and forestry China has to offer. The air is clean and the people friendly.

Overall experience was good. The best part was the tourist manager, who was extremely helpful, friendly with a great approach.
Recommended the best routes, was supportive all the way.
The location of the hotel is also great, very near to East Gate of the Forest park as well as the city center with all the shops and cafes.
All in all the staff was quite helpful.
The rooms could have been a bit cleaner and the breakfast was honestly not the best. I ended up ordering breakfast from another restaurant (also located in the hotel) and paying extra just to have some decent food.

I'm in Zhangjiajie on a trip, and the hotel I'm staying at the Pullman under the Accor — but honestly, the cleanliness really caught me off guard.
The location is super convenient, right next to the scenic area entrance, no complaints there. But the room itself feels a bit outdated. The floor isn't clean at all… I even found hairs and sunflower seed shells on the old carpet. And under the lamp, there's this stain that looks like it's never coming off. Seriously, for an international hotel chain, I didn't expect it to be like this.
The hotel staff are very nice and seemed very relaxed, especially Convierge Leo. I like them.

Location was great. Service was good. Bathroom and room could use some fresh refurbishing as it’s dated. Bathroom and room was a bit dark and could use more lighting. Also, bathroom could use some bleaching as there were molds on the tile grout. Breakfast is just soso.

The room is clean and comfortable for living, plus a nearby theatre and many local restaurants. Lovely spot, will book again :)

Enjoyed our stay at the Pullman and would highly recommend this property. The staff was extremely helpful at all times and the room was very comfortable.

Everything about the hotel is good except for the following:
1) room is way too dim
2) despite being an international hotel, there is NOT a single English movie channel.

Mark was an exceptional help. he was in every detail of my trip, without even having to ask. he helped me with all the day trips, remembered where i was going each day and was in service every time i needed help to resolve last minute problems. i really want the hotel to know that he solved all of our problems without having to ask!

in regards to the hotel, we loved it. comfortable places to sit besides the room, wonderful views, natural spaces, friendly staff, complete breakfast.

the room was big, comfortable, clean, with all the amenities.

closes enough to the national park but not in the gate, which makes it a perfect location to stay. just across the street there are plenty of places to eat, the theater is right next to the hotel and there are more places to eat and shop in the sideway.

We stayed 3 nights at the Pullman Zhangjiajie in September and had a wonderful experience.

The hotel is well located and is a short 10 minute Didi from the National Park and a 5 minute walk from the town centre. At night time there are bustling markets set up in front of the hotel which is very cool.

The staff are very professional and friendly right from the front lobby through to the reception staff who welcomed us when we arrived, looked after our luggage, and made checking out a breeze. A lot of the staff speak English as well which was great.

A special call out needs to be made to the concierge George who was "extremely" helpful and was very knowledgeable and thorough in terms of helping us plan our travel movements to make the most of our time in Zhangjiajie. In particular, he drew a mini itinerary on a map that he gave to us to navigate the national park so we could make the most of our time in the Avatar Mountains and when my wife had left the map back at the hotel and didn't realise until we arrived at the National Forest Park, George redid the whole itinerary on the fly for us and sent it via text. His directions were very accurate and we had an absolute blast. George also helped us with other attractions like Tianmen Mountain, the Romance Park show and even helped my wife book bullet train tickets to Shenzhen. So a special thank you to George because he really went above and beyond to look after us.

The room was quite large and spacious, spotlessly clean, tastefully designed, with a very large and comfortable bed, excellent shower pressure, with full bathroom amenities supplied, very comfortable slippers, plenty of sustainable bottles of water, and the wi-fi was pretty fast. We also had a complimetary fruit platter delivered to our room where the fruits were very fresh and sweet.

The hotel has a well equipped gym, very large swimming pool, a karaoke bar, spa, gift shop, and tour business located in house. We didn't try the breakfast buffet but we did have lunch at the Poolside Restaurant which did a very good beef burger and beef hor fun noodles for a very reasonable price.

Overall, we had a memorable experience at the Pullman and would happily stay there again if we revisited Zhangjiajie in the future.

Conveniently located. The service were amazing. Everyone always caring and smiling. The room are clean. The only defect is the variety of the breakfast.

Pullman hotel had a fantastic breakfast that really helped us fuel our bodies for long days of hiking in the National Forest. The foot messages at the hotel spa were fantastic and the staff was kind and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location to walk to the waterfront and restaurants.

This hotel is located near the National Forest Park. The location is convenient, as you can easily get around by DIDI or taxi. Check in process was smooth and the room is spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet was pretty okay, and the facilities quite complete (swimming pool, massage, and gym).

The most helpful and favorite things (and a kindly tips) is the local guide (Mr Zhu). He's office located near the swimming pool. Mr Zhu helps us three days to settle our itinerary, book our tickets, and explain everything about Zhangjiajie so we will not confused when we visit the attraction. Thanks to him, the trip went smoothly and memorable.
