The hotel was clean
Hot water wasn't really available to shower. The park opposite the hotel was crowded with homeless.
We like the rooms, they are spacious. We like the cleanliness, and the ambience inside the hotel.
I wish adjacent/neighboring businesses were as clean and had the same curb appeal as this hotel.
Nice shower. Night staff person was helpful. Quiet.
Day staff woman was very UNHELPFUL. Actually treated me as if I didn't matter. Refused to assist with a taxi. Told me to WALK up the street and flag one down. RIDICULOUS! Was rude. I will never come back due to her attitude.
Unexpected modern looking facility and lobby/reception in the midst of Chinatown. Room was very clean and provided all the expected amenities - including several bottles of water (thank you), a refrigerator, and shower soap/body wash/shampoo, etc.
The thermostat was a little challenging to figure out. We did....but it was initially set too low (for our tastes) by the staff....and we inadvertently set it a little too high for the overnight.... If we had known how to set it more easily early on, we could've experimented with settings earlier to sort out a better/best comfort level for us.
Very friendly staff, perfect view
Water came through the windows, had to call reception staff to fix TV connection several times, no breakfast facilities nearby, all shops around required cash payments
Great location & price.
The staff is cold & not welcoming.
מיקום גודל החדר
-front desk staff friendly and helpful
-convenient location for Federal Plaza and Little Italy
-Bed very comfortable
- quiet and felt safe
- short walk down Mulberry to Little Italy
-very reasonable cost for NYC
-quiet neighborhood
-good bathroom/ shower facilities
- independent ownership....not a chain
-small room
-no real amenities for the hotel
-a little dark in the room
- in heart of chinatown...could be intimidating to some
The hotel was basic, with very few amenities, but the rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. We liked the neighborhood.
We were not thrilled with the security; basically there was no staff in the evening/overnight, you're given a security card with your room cards that allows entry to the hotel after 9 p.m.
Seems like something you'd experience at a hostel.
The staff at the Hotel Mulberry are fantastic -- quick to help and very friendly. The Chinatown location can't be beat, and the views of lower Manhattan from the upper floors are gorgeous. Our bed was very comfortable. We really appreciated having a fridge and coffee maker in the room. The coffee in the lobby was really good, too. It was very quiet at night, which we appreciated.
Get the room with the balcony, great view of the Freedom Tower.. Its like getting 2 rooms having the balcony and seeing all the city lights. Loved it
Location is easy walk to China town, little Italy and SoHo
Such a great location and felt very secure. It was quiet, clean and a really great value in my opinion. The staff were lovely and so welcoming.
There’s only one elevator and it’s incredibly slow sometimes.
