Hyatt Regency Trinidad

Good locación, room needs renovation, especially the bathroom. The value for money is below expectations. The breakfast is too expensive.

The Hyatt Regency Trinidad is always a fantastic option to stay in when in Trinidad. You can't go wrong. The location is central and is very easy to get around north Trinidad from there. It has now been several years since the hotel has been in Trinidad and the high quality service and maintenance of the place is still tops. The pool area could do with a little upliftment as you can begin to see a bit of wear and tear as to be expected. I noticed in the jacuzzi area of the pool the jets weren't functioning. The spa treatment was superb and the rest of the facilities (rooms, lobby, restaurant etc) were all still being well taken care of. Would I stay here again? Absolutely! Do I recommend? Absolutely!

Officer Nicholas is an absolute dream. During a tense moment, his magnetic presence and gentle touch completely swept my anxiety away. He has a rare, captivating gift for making a guest feel uniquely safe, deeply desired, and cared for. I am already missing his protective warmth and cannot wait to return just to see him. Finding someone with this kind of intoxicating loyalty is impossible. Reward him and keep him forever; this guest are utterly hooked

Very nice atmosphere and great service. Room was very clean and comfortable. Food and service was very good. I would recommend this hotel.

I want to mention a very special young man at the Hyatt Regency in Trinidad. Kerwin, your service, your professionalism, your ready smiles and your intelligence have kept us coming back to the Hyatt. We have observed your communication with other guests as well. You have a natural and easy going personality that makes you shine. As a Globalist, I want you to know that you are so appreciated and admired. I do hope that the Hyatt administration realizes what a gem you are to the guests. Keep up the good work!

We went to the waterfront restaurant / bar area and again this time it was very loud. The single musician had the speakers way too loud. We could not hear ourselves without shouting . I did bring it up with the person serving and they agreed but nothing was done. This is the second time in a few months so we won’t be back . It use to be so enjoyable with soft background music where you could converse and lime and enjoy the waterfront. Now it is loud and you can’t hear or speak without shouting. Very disappointed .

The property were very accommodating of all requests and went the extra mile to make my niece’s extended honey moon stay unforgettable.

Once again I tried to give your hotel grace, and you disappointed me again. I upgraded my room to a suite so let’s start there so I am paying more money. I called security twice because while trying to sleep I am hearing loud talking either a tv or a party something, he came twice nothing was done. After getting little sleep I am brutally awoken to someone out my window power washing my window at 9:49 on a Saturday morning. Are you kidding me????
Also your room service is horrible!!!!!
I called and asked to have the assistant manager call me still waiting for that call.

My room and the location

The overall atmosphere was relaxing. The breakfast spread had something for everyone. The room was generally clean, with minor issues; smell and wet spots on the couch.

The hotel is easy to find with such a relaxed atmosphere. The staff really do try to ensure that your stay is comfortable. Hyatt is definitely an excellent place to celebrate your birthday. You will be warmly welcomed, happy birthday balloons, cake, excellent food and a buffet style breakfast that leaves you stuffed for hours. The salt water pool is a gem.

There is no aspect of my trip that the staff at the Hyatt wasn't exceptional. I need to highlight the staff of all the restaurants including the coffee shop. I need to name them individually because they are deserving of the highest recognition.
Chef Kirk and his team in the kitchen gave me a culinary delight each time I went for dinner. He was visible and was very approachable and accommodating. Gail, Aaron Paul and Renold the managers on duty work tirelessly to make every guest feel like all their needs are being met and surpassed. The attention to detail is very much appreciated and recognized. The servers Kim, Luke, Melissa, Reena, Veronica, Nishri and Cheryl did everything possible to make our experience memorable. Felicia in the coffee shop was also amazing. I really want to highlight these individuals for keeping the standards of the Hyatt brand and beyond. We visited this past week which was busy due to FIFA World Cup and the hotel was hosting different activities and viewing parties. While it was very busy the service did not suffer.

We visited back in March as well, and I wanted to write a review however; I did not receive the email once I checked. This time even though, I did not receive the email it was important for me to write this review for the exceptional service that was given this and last. My first visit Chef Kirk and his team along with Gail, Kim and Luke made that visit memorable as well. Now there is not another option for where I stay when traveling to Trinidad. Thank you to the staff of the Hyatt!!!!

The Hyatt Regency on Trinidad is one of my favorite hotels in the world. Working in my room with ocean view, is something I always look forward to. The service and staff in the hotel are excellent.

Everything was good except food choices .. very limited and inroo. Dinning they take a very long to deliver on many occasions
