Convenient Grand Hotel

After reading the reviews, we decided to book one night because we were arriving close to midnight and wanted to stay close to the BKK airport after traveling for 18 hours.

Well the good news is the staff was great, the size of the room was large. Breakfast was good, no buffet but you order off a set menu.

The bad news, there were roaches in the room and the shower head broke off from use. The front desk offered to move us but we had already settled in and killed the roach. WiFi is spotty.

Next time we will not be staying here.
If you have to stay here, one night is enough!

Very nice and “convenient “ Hotel

Rated as a 5 star based on value for money and customer service not the hotel itself which is tired and a bit shabby.

I was booked into a swanky hotel in the city but upon arrival at the airport I learned of the earthquake and witnessed the ensuing chaos. After waiting 90 minutes for a taxi and hearing from a taxi driver it was taking 3+ hours to get to the city I changed my plans, choosing the nearest hotel with rooms.

Ten minutes down the road took me here. I was greeted with warm smiles by the staff and quickly checked in. My room was very basic and a little tired but had a fridge with chilled bottles of water, great albeit noisy a/c and the most delicious crisp cotton sheets on a large and comfortable bed. I slept like a dream!

The next morning I had a basic but delicious breakfast and then took a quick mosey across the road to the market where I enjoyed an iced drink and a strong coffee.

Check out wasn’t until midday so I chilled in my room before checking out and having a taxi ordered which quickly arrived. Again lovely service by the staff, who couldn’t have been kinder.

Thoroughly recommend this place, great value for money for just £20!

The people were great. The wifi sucked. Limited things to do nearby.

It is very close to a busy street and very noisy. It is hard to get any sleep due to the noise. The window is hardly sound proof. The property is old. The shower has no curtain. It is far from airport and about 8.2 miles. I think it is one start at most but it is listed as 4.5 stars. Incorrect information misled me into booking this property. Otherwise I will not book it.

The people were friendly and tried to be helpful. The bed was clean, that’s the only reason I stayed. They are many miles away from access to the airport....false advertising!!!! This is NOT a FOUR STAR HOTEL! I’m angry!!!!!

Price is right. Good location and breakfast. We are returning in a few days.

No airport shuttle as advertised i would never stay here again. The hassle was times the room rate to get to the motel. I feel cornholed

Dangerous little unmarked step into bathroom. Breakfast disappointing.

Bed sheets had yellow stains all over them. We had to put t-shirts over the pillows. WiFi didn’t work. The bathroom had someone’s hair all over the tub. Disgusting!!!!!

Nice breakfast buffet. Hotel has been redecorated since we last stayed here 5 years ago. The room decor was extremely plain, lacking any pictures or character. Very disappointed they no longer have airport shuttle service. I contacted the hotel three times about airport pick-up, and never received a reply.

I saw good reviews (4star) and booked it for 1 night considering that I would be spending only 12 hours .the rooms on I internet looks spacious and looked a great deal.To my surprise the hotel was completely horrible. It's an outdated building with no guest , lobby was dark and scary. I checked in and checked out in 15 min.couldnt spend more than that. I had to book a cab to reach bangkok city and checkin in another hotel. It is close to airport and may be a group of friends going on a low budget can spend a halt before taking a flight. a complete No for couples and families.

I wasted 3 precious hours and added lots of stress due to this booking. It was a nightmare.

Thank god my agency gave me a refund !! And I stayed in main city ( sukhumvit area ) to spend good time.

Very bad hotel, run down, rude staff, near the airport but with nothing but stray dogs and empty fields around

Very poor English speaking staff on front. Nevertheless polite atvsll times.
Cold shower wasnt working, no tea or coffee provided as standard. Had to pay off hpusekeeper to get some for me.
Electronic Safe wasnt working a key eas provided in the end by hpusekeeper. Took some time to resolve. My friend who booked their has the same issues.

The hotel is clean and that is all.

For the price you can stay closer to the airport or mych closer to Bangkok.

The pictures on the website and google are not from the hotel, they are stock photos of another pool and gym.

Listed having airport transfers which they do not. A guest was actually on the phone requesting their shuttle as I checked out and I wanted to take the phone and tell them to go any place else.

Transportation is so easy on the airport link to go any place in the city, its actually about the same tkme and cost less than a taxi to this empty hotel.

There is nothing in the area.

Also they started hammering on a wall on my floor at 9am and when I asked about it kept saying no, that it didnt happen. Finally admitted that there is co struction on the floor.

I don't need a lot in my accommodations, usually I say I need some place safe, clean and has good wifi. This is the first place ever that meets those standards but I would never recommend it and never stay here again.

Literally stay any place else.

Ok for a one night stay. Cleaniness ok. No curtain for the shower.
