Outstanding stay at the Waldorf!
Pros:

We had the most outstanding stay at the Waldorf on the Bund in Shanghai! The buildings, rooms, decor were beautifully done and very comfortable. Jason and the concierge team were extremely helpful with dining reservations, shopping tips, and transportation from the hotel. Jonny and Roy provided excellent service helping my elderly father at the pool. The pool has a lovely view of historic buildings and was very peaceful in the mornings. Everything was well stocked - exactly what you'd expect from a luxury hotel. Out of our stays in Asia, we enjoyed this Waldorf the most. Will definitely be back!

Business in Shanghai - awesome views
Pros:

Stayed here for business and loved the room, amazing deco, incredible views of the Bund and really nice breakfast too. I needed a room earlier and the only way was to get an upgrade which was a little annoying but the room was really lovely

Wonderful Concierge Jimmy @ the Waldorf
Pros:

We had a girls trip to Shanghai with a full itinerary of fine dining, touring, having clothes made, and even photos done. Our trip was made next level through the expert help and warm advice of our concierge Jimmy.

Whether it was reservations at Cafe Louis - accompanied by a fun tour of the Louis Vuitton Ship or dinner at Prada RongZhai or jazz at the Peace Hotel - Jimmy was able to help us. And then for simple family-style Shanghainese dinner - he found us a Michelin bib gourmand that fit the spot. Yuyuan Garden tea house.

What stood out was his helping us with handwritten cards and guidance for each of our forays out. This was such a memorable trip!!!

Excellent location on the Bund
Pros:

We loved the feel of the hotel, the great comfortable bed and excellent breakfast

Cons:

Our room was next to a service room of which the door banged excessively as the cleaners entered and exited. Not ideal if you are trying to rest.

Расположение хорошее. Номер просторный. Персонал вежливый, хороший английский. В целом, все неплохо, но не было и вау эффекта.

Cons:

Рядом нет кофейни или магазина. В самом отеле кофе отвратительный. Тренажерный зал довольно маленький и скромный по тренажерам. Жаль, что нет на крыше, или на верхнем этаже, бара.

Pros:

Лучший отель из всех где мы останавливались в Шанхае. До этого проживали в Peninsula и пожалели что не выбрали Waldorf на весь период нахождения в Шанхае.
Лучший отель во всех отношениях - невероятно чистый, красивый, в штате исключительно высококвалифицированный персонал, великолепные завтраки.
