The ambience of the hotel was lovely, very prestigious and beautifully decorated. I would say this is a very high end hotel with top tier customer service. The food and variety was phenomenal and being a vegatarian/plant based eater I was truly satisfied with the options provided. My husband and I had to personally commend the lead chef Mr Jolly for the delicious dishes he prepared for us on our arrival to the hotel, we had the green papaya salad and green salad, veg lasagna, fried veg noodles and a meat free meat dish served with fresh garlic naan bread...the food was truly a chefs kiss moment! We finished off our meal with the BEST mango sorbet I have ever had and also indulged in the hot chocolate fudge sundae- honestly we went to food heaven!! The chefs (Grace) and waiters were all so brilliant at their job!

Now onto the room. I thought the decor was beautiful, definitely gave off a Palace feel throughout the property with beautiful furniture and finishing. The bed and pillows are very comfortable I had a good nights sleep! The amenities & gym was excellent compared to most hotel gyms I have used in the past. The infinity pool is heated and a decent size too. There is so much more I could go on to review but it'd take to long!! I highly recommend this hotel in the beautiful India you will not be disappointed.

I had a scheduled airport transfer to The Leela Palace New Delhi, and that’s how I met Kranti. From the moment I saw him, it genuinely felt like our souls recognized each other. And he told me the same later on in the drive.

I told him I was in India for a 500-hour yoga teacher training, and almost immediately he guided me through a simple meditation right there in the car. As the horns honked and the city buzzed around us, he had me chanting “Om,” calling the divine to my third eye, while he expertly navigated the chaotic streets of Delhi. It was such a surreal and beautiful welcome to India; grounded, spiritual, and completely alive.

During the drive, he shared an idea that really stayed with me: life is like being in a car. Hopefully you have both a good driver and a nice car. Sometimes you have a bad driver: a chaotic, messy soul. Sometimes you have a bad car: a body you don’t take care of or one that’s plagued by health issues. But when you have both a steady driver and a strong car, the journey can unfold the way it’s meant to. In that moment, I truly felt like I had both (literally and figuratively)

Kranti was also an incredible guide along the way. He pointed out landmarks, shared history and culture about Delhi and India, and spoke about spirituality with thoughtful, brilliant insights. It didn’t feel like a standard airport transfer. It felt like the first chapter of my journey had already begun.

I’m so grateful he was my introduction to this trip. If you have the chance to ride with Kranti, you’ll be in very good hands, both practically and spiritually. When I come back to India with more time I will absolutely stay here again, just to ride with Kranti!

Once I arrived at the Leela Palace, it was breathtakingly gorgeous. The staff was so beyond welcoming and friendly, regardless of how disheveled I looked in comparison to the other elegant guests. I stayed here as a last minute option since my flight was delayed and my itinerary was in ruins. And since I was only here in India for a YTT, I really only had comfortable clothes suitable for the ashram, not this stunningly beautiful hotel. They didn’t seem to mind at all and still treated me with the respect that they would give their distinguished guests.

I went down for dinner and my waiter, Rik, gave me amazing food recommendations (from his hometown) so I could experience a delicious Indian meal without having to think about what I want. It was exactly the attentiveness I needed after the rough travel to get there.

Weirdly enough, I’m so grateful that the flight troubles happened so that I could experience the impeccable hospitality of everyone at the Leela Palace. I would recommend and I will be back!

Our entire time at Leela was magnificent. From our room on Royal Club level to tea service in the lounge. The hotel is lovely. Jamaval for lunch was an extraordinary feast. The chef is so talented, the food was amazing and the staff was suberb. Special thanks to Abhishek and the entire wait staff and manager, you all made the meal special.

This hotel is simply luxurious. From the moment you step into the lobby, you are welcomed with warmth. Every single person that interacted with me was absolutely caring & professional.

People that stood out were Himanshu Sharma (Assistant Restaurant Manager) and his team. Every breakfast was wonderful. I was spoilt for choices. I appreciate everything that was done for my husband and myself. The most memorable 5 days at The Leela's Palace.
